Medical Spanish

The Medical Spanish program offers first- and second-year medical students the opportunity to practice and expand language-building skills to increase their ability to communicate in Spanish in a clinical setting.

Summer Undergraduate Mentorship Program

The six-week Summer Undergraduate Mentorship Program (SUMP) offers students from underrepresented groups in medicine and/or economically disadvantaged backgrounds the opportunity for exposure to the realities and options within the medical profession through shadowing a doctor, medical lectures, hands-on workshop participation, and research with research mentor and medical librarians at Einstein.

Cultural Competency & Implicit Bias Workshops

A case compilation created from discussions in the Albert Einstein College of Medicine Faculty Task Force for Disparities and Cross-Cultural Training, an outgrowth of the Health Disparities Education Core of the Bronx Center to Reduce and Eliminate Racial and Ethnic Health Disparities (BronxCREED).
