Data Mining and Diagnostics Unit

This unit will provide analytical and diagnostic equipment services to help support stem cell research ranging from basic science experiments to providing support for pre-clinical modeling projects.

Featured services offered:

• Data mining: Assistance with analysis and integration of in-house generated NSG-data; tier I clinical data analysis and integration   
• Confocal Microscopy: Services and training for bone and bone marrow imaging and sectioning featuring the 3i (Intelligent Imaging Innovations) VIVO 200 spinning disk confocal with 5 lasers and Leica Cryostat CM3050S. 
• InVivo bioluminescence and fluorescence imaging featuring the IVIS imaging system: Tracking, visualizing and quantifying biological processes in living animals in real time (science direct) and the Vevo 2100 Imaging platform ultrasound (pre-clinical imaging embryo, abdominal, epidermal, tumors).
• Complete hematology analysis: Siemens ADVIA 2120i hematology system allows for the analysis of complete peripheral blood and bone marrow, as well basic cell counting (human and multispecies capability).
