Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology are running a new behavioral research study, called ReDUCe, that tests a new program created for young adults with T1D to reduce diabetes related stress, increase emotional well-being, and improve blood sugar control. The ReDUCe program focuses on the psychological burdens of T1D to improve medical outcomes. This study will determine whether community health workers can increase technology use among young adults by becoming part of the T1D team-based care approach and help to reduce disparities in the treatment.
