Ronald J. Lis, MDDr. Ronald Lis, Assistant Professor (Critical Care) and former Medical Director of the Medical-Surgical ICU at Montefiore Wakefield, has advanced in rank and responsibility to the facility's Critical Care Medicine Site Director.
Dr. Lis completed a medical degree at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center, and fellowship training both in pulmonary disease at NYU School of Medicine and in critical care medicine at Montefiore.
Dr. Lis is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine. He is board certified in internal medicine, critical care medicine, and in hospice and palliative medicine, and has a subspecialty certification in neurocritical care.
