The Montefiore Einstein Internal Medicine Residency
Program proudly announces Chief Residents for the 2016-2017 academic year.
Firm 1: Maria Rubinstein (Zlobinsky), MD
Dr. Rubinstein was born in Kiev and grew up in Ohio. She completed her undergrad
and medical school education in a 6-year BS/MD program and spent a year doing research
and volunteer work in Israel. With her enthusiastic personality, Dr. Rubenstein is
viewed as a pleasure to work with, hard working, and very personable. She is committed
to excellent patient care, and plans a career in Hematology/Oncology.
Firm 2: Dustin Pardo, MD
Dr. Pardo comes from Long Island, NY. He attended SUNY Binghamton as an
undergraduate and University of Pennsylvania medical school. He loves critical
thinking and diagnostic reasoning, as well as teaching in all venues. Dr. Pardo's
peers note that he goes above and beyond for his patients and interns, and is an
excellent teacher and role model. He is interested in a career in academic general
medicine.
Firm 3: Justin Kaner, MD
Dr. Kaner also comes from Long Island. He attended SU as a undergraduate, where he
worked as an EMT, and New York Medical College for medical school. Those who have
worked with Dr. Kaner have found him to have a positive attitude and great medical
knowledge, and comment that he functions well as both team member and leader. He is
committed to a career in Hematology/Oncology following his training.
Primary Care and Social Internal Medicine: Linda Wang, MD
Dr. Wang was born in Beijing. She attended Swarthmore College and Mt. Sinai School
of Medicine. Her CV attests to her long-standing commitment to community service and
patient outreach. Dr. Wang is a solid clinician, described as extremely intelligent,
organized, kind, and approachable.
Ambulatory Care Residency: Brian Dorsey, MD
Dr. Dorsey was born in Ohio. He attended Columbia University as an undergraduate
and Albany Medical College for medical school. He received the Florczyk Award as an
intern, demonstrating his extraordinary dedication and commitment to his patients. Dr.
Dorsey is described as smart, thoughtful, and hardworking. He is actively pursuing a
career in primary care.

exceptional teaching, research and patient care that are the hallmarks of Montefiore,"
said Dr. Rosemarie Conigliaro, Director of the Internal Medicine Residency
Program.
