Dr. Amer NazirAbstracts by Montefiore Medical Center Wakefield Campus residents Sarah Khan and Amer Nazir have been selected for presentation at the upcoming American College of Physicians (ACP) 2015 national meeting.
ACP abstract competitions offer residents the opportunity to compete with peers throughout the country. In preparing for submission, these residents collaborated with program directors, discussed their research or clinical experience, and formally wrote abstracts for professional review.
Dr. Sarah KhanDr. Khan will present her abstract, "Cryptococcal Meningoencephalitis in a Non-HIV Patient – The Search for an Underlying Disease", and Dr. Nazir will present "Indwelling Urinary Catheters in Hospitalized Patients: Appropriate Use, Discontinuation and Follow-Up: A Quality Improvement (QI) Project" at the 2015 National ACP Internal Medicine Meeting, April 30-May 2 in Boston, MA.
