Einstein Enrichment Program
A designated Science and Technology Entry Program (STEP), the Einstein Enrichment Program is a pre-college science, technology, engineering, math (STEM), and health science program funded by a grant for the New York State Department of Education.
Our curriculum provides hands-on learning experiences, including ambulance bay visits, suturing courses, seminars with physicians and scientists, test prep classes, college-readiness workshops, college tours, networking events with college and medical students, and more. The program runs approximately 15 weeks each fall and spring with the option to extend participation as part of a four-week summer program.
To qualify, students must demonstrate high academic performance (grade point average of 85 or 3.0 and above); show an interest in pursuing a career in health, medicine, or science; and be committed to working with diverse populations in medicine. We seek participants who are willing to commit to the Einstein Enrichment Program until they matriculate in college.
