Professional Interests
Dr. Manzione received her Medical Degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center. She joined the Einstein community in 1978 and became wedded to this Bronx institution, where she completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine followed by a 3-year fellowship in Gastroenterology, one of the few women in this subspecialty at the time. She has a large clinical practice in Gastroenterology, while providing mentorship of fellows in training. Her expertise is in all aspects of colon health with a special interest in providing colorectal cancer screening. She is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
