<p>Hnin Khine, MBBS, is an attending physician and Associate Professor, Pediatrics at Montefiore Einstein. Dr. Khine&rsquo;s clinical focus is on determining the cause of emergent and urgent cases, with particular interest in infectious diseases and their trends.</p><p>After earning her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Adelaide in Adelaide, Australia in 1985, Dr. Khine completed her transitional internship in medicine, surgery &amp; pediatrics at North Western General Hospital in Tasmania, Australia in 1987. She then moved to the United States to continue her medical training, completing her pediatric internship and residency at Montefiore Einstein in 1992, where she was Chief Resident in her final year. Following this, Dr. Khine completed a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at the Children&rsquo;s Hospital of Pittsburgh in 1994.</p><p>Building on her clinical focus, Dr. Khine&rsquo;s research focuses on infectious diseases and their trends, with a particular focus on sexually transmitted infections. Her work has been published in many peer-reviewed journals, books, chapters, review articles and letters, and she has given numerous national presentations and invited lectures. Dr. Khine has been Investigator on funded research projects and is a reviewer for <em>Pediatric Emergency Care and Pediatrics</em>.</p><p>Dr. Khine is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Pediatric Association, the Eastern Society for Pediatric Research and the Society for Pediatric Research. Dr. Khine has won many awards for her work. In 2008, she was inducted into the Leo M. Davidoff Society for Outstanding Achievement in the Teaching of Medical Students. In 2013, she won the William Obrinsky Award for Excellence in Student Teaching from Montefiore&rsquo;s Department of Pediatrics. In 2019, Dr. Khine won the Lewis M. Fraad Award for Excellence in Resident Teaching from the Department of Pediatrics at The Children&rsquo;s Hospital at Montefiore. She also received the Teaching Star-Teaching Commendation Letter for the 2019 to 2020 Academic Year at Einstein.</p>

<p>Michal M. <p>Dr. Daniel M. Fein earned a BS in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his MD at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. <p>Dr. Fein joined the Department of Pediatrics at the Children&rsquo;s Hospital at Montefiore in 2013 and is currently an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Interim Division Chief of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at CHAM. He is an active clinical researcher serving as PI for multiple studies and as site-director for a variety of nationally conducted clinical studies. His specific interests are analgesia &amp; anxiolysis, BRUE and resident/fellow education.</p>
<p>Dr. Fein is also the Fellowship Director for the Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship at CHAM and served on the national committee for developing the descriptions of Entrustable Professional Activities that will help guide the education of future trainees in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. He has authored multiple articles and book chapters, serves as co-director of the Department of Pediatrics Grand Rounds at CHAM. He is active in the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Emergency Medicine and is a member of both the AAP's PREP E-Med and Pediatrics In Review editorial board. He was awarded the Lewis M. Biography

<p>Jefferson T. Barrett, MD, MPH, FAAP, is an attending physician, Pediatric Emergency Medicine, Associate Program Director, Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship and Co-Director of Simulation Education, Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore Einstein. He is also Assistant Professor, Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Barrett&rsquo;s clinical focus is on pediatric emergency medicine, simulation and medical education, pediatric disaster preparedness and readiness and firearm violence and injury prevention. </p><p>After completing his Bachelor of Science at Providence College in 2008, Dr. Barrett attended Tufts University School of Medicine, earning his Master of Science in biomedical science and his Master of Public Health in health services management and policy in 2010. He then attended the University of Massachusetts Medical School, earning his Doctor of Medicine in 2014. Dr. Barrett completed his pediatric residency and pediatric chief residency at The Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center in 2018. He continued his training at Boston Children&rsquo;s Hospital, completing his pediatric emergency medicine fellowship in 2021, taking on the role of Chief Fellow in his final year.
</p><p>Dr. Barrett&rsquo;s research focuses on pediatric readiness and disaster preparedness at a local and national level, as well as pediatric firearm and injury prevention. He has shared his work nationally through numerous peer-reviewed journals, abstracts, and invited presentations.
</p><p>Dr. Barrett is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the American Medical Association and the Academic Pediatric Association. Dr. Barrett has been twice recognized in Super Doctors, New York Rising Stars in New York Times Magazine. In 2023, he received the Lewis Fraad Resident Teaching Award from the Children&rsquo;s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein. In 2024, Dr. Barrett received the Teaching Star Commendation from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

<p>Amy Abraham, MD, is an attending physician at the Children&rsquo;s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Abraham&rsquo;s clinical focus is in pediatric emergency medicine. She has a particular interest in patient communication and relationship-centered communication.</p><p>After obtaining her Bachelor of Science in biomedical sciences from the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at the City College of New York in 2011, Dr. Abraham earned her Doctor of Medicine at New York Medical College in 2013. She completed her pediatrics residency at Maria Fareri Children&rsquo;s Hospital in 2016, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital &ndash; Brooklyn Methodist in 2019.</p><p>Dr. Abraham is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American Academy of Pediatrics.</p>
