<p>Danielle Weiss, MD, is an attending physician at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Radiology at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Weiss&rsquo;s clinical focus and special interest centers on contrast-enhanced ultrasound and fetal body imaging.</p><p>After earning her Doctor of Medicine from Tel Aviv University, Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel, in 2013, Dr. Weiss completed her internship at Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba, Israel, in 2016, followed by her diagnostic radiology residency at the same institution in 2022. Dr. Weiss continued as an attending physician at Meir Medical Center upon completing residency. In 2024, she completed her pediatric radiology fellowship at Montefiore Einstein.</p><p>Dr. Weiss&rsquo;s research focus is on a portable upper gastrointestinal series to rule out malrotation in critically ill infants in the neonatal intensive care unit. Her work has been shared through peer-reviewed publications and posters.</p><p>Dr. Weiss is fluent in English and Hebrew.</p>

<p>John Amodio, MD, FACR, is Chief, Radiology and Division Lead, Pediatric Radiology at Children&rsquo;s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein and Professor, Radiology at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Amodio has 40 years of experience in pediatric imaging. His particular interest is the use of contrast ultrasound in pediatric imaging.
</p><p>After obtaining his Bachelor of Arts from New York University in 1976, Dr. Amodio earned his Doctor of Medicine at New York Medical College in 1980. He completed a radiology internship at Maimonides Medical Center in 1981, followed by his radiology residency at Montefiore Medical Center in 1984. In 1985, Dr. Amodio completed a pediatric radiology fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children&rsquo;s Hospital. </p><p>Dr. Amodio&rsquo;s research is focused on the role of liver elastography across a wide spectrum of hepatic diseases. His work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed publications and he has given regional, national and international invited teachings and presentations. </p><p>Dr. Amodio is board certified by the American Board of Radiology with added qualifications in Pediatric Radiology. He is an elected Fellow of the American College of Radiology and a member of the Society for Pediatric Radiology, the Association of Medical Student Educators in Radiology and the Association of University Radiologists. Dr. Amodio has been named in Castle Connolly&rsquo;s &ldquo;Best Doctors, New York Metro Area&rdquo; since 1999.

<p>Terry L. Levin, MD, FACR, is an Attending Radiologist in the Department of Pediatric Radiology at Children&rsquo;s Hospital at Montefiore and Professor of Pediatric Radiology at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Levin joined the Montefiore team in 1999 with a clinical focus on imaging infants and children, specifically using ultrasonography. </p><p>In 1981, Dr. Levin received her Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Biochemistry from Cornell University, Ithaca. She continued her studies at Cornell University Medical College, where she received her Doctor of Medicine in 1985. Dr. Levin began her postgraduate training in 1985 with a year-long internship in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital. She then completed a residency in Radiology in 1990 at New York Hospital Cornell Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Radiology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, which she completed in 1991. </p><p>Expanding from her clinical interests, Dr. Levin&rsquo;s research focuses on ultrasonography and sonoelastography of the musculoskeletal system and abdomen. Her work has been published in many peer-reviewed journals, books, abstracts, and book reviews. She has also been a guest speaker at many national lectures and presentations. </p><p>In 2008 and again in 2009 Dr. Levin was named one of New York Magazine&rsquo;s Super Doctors. She is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and is a member of multiple professional societies, including the Society for Pediatric Radiology, and the American College of Radiology and is a member of the Board of Directors for the John Caffrey Society.</p>

<p>Einat Blumfield, MD, is an Attending Radiologist at Children?s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM). She is also an Associate Professor of Radiology at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Blumfield specializes in pediatric imaging and neuroradiology and her clinical focus is on imaging of acute and chronic diseases and injuries in pediatric patients. </p><p>Dr. Blumfield received her Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences in 1989 and her Doctor of Medicine degree at Bruce Rappaport Faculty of Medicine in 1995. She completed an internship at Rambam Medical Center in 1993, and a residency in diagnostic radiology at Rambam in 2002. In 2003, Dr. Blumfield completed her first fellowship in neuroradiology at the University of Washington School of Medicine, followed by a second fellowship in pediatric radiology in 2005 at Children?s Hospital and Regional Medical Center, University of Washington School of Medicine. </p><p>Dr. Blumfield?s research is focused on imaging of pediatric appendicitis, as well as the safety and quality of imaging with ionizing radiation, with emphasis on CT, and safety of contrast media, especially gadolinium for MRI. Dr. Blumfield takes a special interest in improving imaging of pediatric acute appendicitis with ultrasound, a safe modality, which does not expose patients to radiation or contrast. </p><p>Dr. Blumfield has coauthored numerous original communications featured in reviewed journals and given many presentations nationally and internationally. She is a member of multiple professional societies, including the Society of Pediatric Radiology, the Radiology Society of North America and the European society of Radiology. In 2017, Dr. Blumfield won the Award for Excellence in Clinical Skills and Scholarship from the Department of Radiology at the Jacobi Medical Center. </p>
