<p>Jason A. Fisher, MD, is an attending physician at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Radiology at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Fisher&rsquo;s clinical expertise includes a range of vascular interventions, including genicular embolization for osteoarthritis of the knee, ablation and embolization for thyroid nodules/goiter, treatment for pulmonary and systemic arteriovenous malformation (AVM), venous malformations, visceral aneurysms, liver cancer, uterine fibroids, adenomyosis and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).</p><p>After receiving his Bachelor of Science in physics from St. John Fisher University in 2012, Dr. Fisher earned his Master of Science in biomedical science from Boston University School of Medicine in 2014. He then earned his Doctor of Medicine at St. George University School of Medicine in 2018. He completed his general surgery internship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in 2019, followed by his diagnostic radiology residency in early specialization in interventional radiology at Hartford Hospital in 2023. Following this, Dr. Fisher completed a vascular and interventional radiology fellowship at New York University in 2024.</p><p>Dr. Fisher&rsquo;s research interests focus on the development and implementation of new procedures in his clinical field. <p>Kapil Wattamwar, MD, is Director, Interventional Radiology Research and Director, Pediatric Radiology at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Radiology at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Wattamwar has a broad clinical interest in many areas of vascular and non-vascular intervention, including women&rsquo;s health, oncology, hepatobiliary and pediatric intervention.</p><p>After obtaining his Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering from Columbia University in 2013, Dr. Wattamwar earned his Doctor of Medicine at Rutgers University in 2017 before completing his internal medicine internship at Yale School of Medicine in 2018. He then completed his residency in integrated interventional/diagnostic radiology at Montefiore Einstein in 2023, where he was Chief Resident.</p><p>Dr. Wattamwar&rsquo;s research interests lie at the intersection of medicine and technology, spanning improved interventional techniques, medical devices, patient outcomes and medical education. Andrei Frost, MD, began his medical studies at the University of Bucharest, Romania, in 1973. In 1976 he immigrated to the U.S. and continued his studies at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, where he graduated with a medical degree in 1982. After conducting his internal medicine internship at St. Luke&rsquo;s Hospital in New York in 1983 and his diagnostic radiology residency at Mt. <p>Jacob Cynamon, MD, is Director of the Division of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, Director of the Vascular and Interventional Radiology Fellowship and the Interventional Radiology Residency Program at Montefiore. He is also a Professor of Radiology at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Cynamon&rsquo;s clinical focus is in interventional oncology, TIPS, uterine fibroid management, and management of BPH, venous disease and peripheral vascular disease.</p><p>Dr. Cynamon received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 1979 at Polytechnic Institute of New York. He earned his Doctor of Medicine in 1983 at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. After obtaining his medical degree, Dr. Cynamon completed an internship in Surgery and a residency in Radiology at Montefiore. In 1988, he completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center.</p><p>Dr. Cynamon published one of the first reports of the power pulse spray technique for the management of DVT. He also described the popular &ldquo;lyse and wait&rdquo; technique for declotting thrombosed dialysis grafts. He is the lead author or contributor to over 100 peer-reviewed articles, multiple book chapters and solicited reviews. Dr. Cynamon is a frequent speaker at national and international symposiums. In 1992, Dr. Cynamon began an Annual Symposium on Current Issues and New Techniques in Interventional Radiology. The international conference covering the various types of IR is currently in its 27^th consecutive year.</p><p>Dr. Cynamon was named a Top Doctor in <em>New York Magazine's</em> fifth and tenth anniversary editions and the past several consecutive years. He is board certified in Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology.</p>
