Einstein Image: Watching Actin Polymerize (Einstein Magazine Winter/Spring 2020)
An image visualizing actin staining in a rat breast cancer cell by SIM (Structural Illumination Microscopy) acquired by Vera DesMarais, Co-Director of Light Microscopy in the AIF, was the featured "Einstein Image” on the back cover of Einstein Magazine Winter/Spring 2020.

Leslie Gunther Cummins, a senior technician in the AIF, won the PTSA (Professional Technical Staff Members) Award at the Microscopy & Microanalysis 2019 Meeting for her poster titled "Correlative Light and Electron Microscopy Technique using Commercially Available Reagents to Facilitate Immunolocalization via Epi-fluorescence and TEM".
