Conferences & More Ostoporosis Noon Conference - Dr. Eric Epstein Much of your learning will come directly from caring for your patients, but you will also have structured didactics. Most weekdays, you will have a noon conference which may be about clinical topics including the Department of Medicine Grand rounds, practical skills, resident report or wellness, to name a few. In the beginning of the year, we have an intern core series which is the equivalent of an “intern boot camp”. In addition, we hold workshops through the year to supplement our regular curriculum. Examples include our annual Transition to Resident session (which prepares interns to lead teams as PGY2 residents), Code Simulations, How to Prepare a CV and Scholarly Activity. Most of our sessions are now recorded, allowing you to access them in case you were unable to attend in person. Along with your patient care learning, you will have structured didactics.
