My clinical area of expertise and my research focus is sports medicine. I am an active member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports medicine. I am the Director of Sports Medicine for the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center. In this position, I am responsible for educating residents in the field of sports medicine. This includes developing the core curriculum, didactic lectures, on-field experience, and developing their arthoscopic surgical skills. Within sports medicine, my field of interest is in shoulder surgery and I have published articles on shoulder pathology.
