Intereses profesionales

Prof. Santulli's Lab studies the functional role of intracellular calcium fluxes and non-coding RNAs in the pathophysiology of cardiovascular and metabolic disorders. During his training at Columbia University, he elucidated the fundamental mechanisms underlying the key role of intracellular calcium release channels in heart failure and diabetes, both in patients and in preclinical models of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases.
