Professional Interests

Dr. Bansal is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology.  She received her medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center.  She then completed her fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute in Tampa, Florida. 

Dr. Bansal is skilled in the treatment of complex gynecologic diseases such as ovarian cysts and endometriosis.  She has a broad range of experience in the treatment of gynecologic malignancies including ovarian, uterine, cervical, vulvar and vaginal cancers.  She also treats preinvasive gynecologic diseases such as carcinoma in situs of the vulva, vagina and cervix.  She has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery and is experienced in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgical techniques. 

Dr. Bansal is trained in the comprehensive treatment for gynecologic malignancies including surgery, and the delivery of chemotherapy.  She is an active participant in the clinical trials program.  She is also an advocate for the quality of life and well being of her patients. 

Dr. Bansal is an active full member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists.
