Professional Interests
Pavel Goriacko is a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist who researches strategies for optimizing medication outcomes in Learning Health Systems. Dr. Goriacko received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy at Long Island University and completed his pharmacy residency at Montefiore Health System. He obtained a Master of Public Health degree from Columbia University with a focus in epidemiology research methods, and completed a certificate in Implementation Science from UCSF. Dr. Goriacko specializes in evaluating the implementation of novel medication use strategies in real-world clinical practice settings. As a Learning Health Systems researcher, Dr. Goriacko works closely with Montefiore clinicians and administrators to harness relevant evidence from the electronic health record and use it to drive effective medication use policies. Dr. Goriacko was the founding chair for the steering committee of the Center for Pharmacotherapy Research and Quality and currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Population Health at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
