Xiaodong Zhang, MD, PhD, FHRS received his medical degree at Qingdao University, China. Dr. Zhang completed his fellowship in cardiovascular diseases and cardiac electrophysiology at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. He earned his PhD degree in cardiac electrophysiology at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. He then come to US to finish his second cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr Zhang is now Attending Physician at Montefiore Medical Center and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He specializes in the treatment of complex arrhythmias, particularly in catheter ablation of atrial arrhythmias and ventricular tachycardia using cutting-edge technology. He is one of the few electrophysiologists in the country who performs these procedures without fluoroscopy, which avoids radiation exposure to both patients and staff. Dr. Zhang has an exceptional ablation experience, he completed more than 2000 ablation procedures totally.
