<p>Einat Blumfield, MD, is an Attending Radiologist at Children?s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM). She is also an Associate Professor of Radiology at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Blumfield specializes in pediatric imaging and neuroradiology and her clinical focus is on imaging of acute and chronic diseases and injuries in pediatric patients. </p><p>Dr. Blumfield received her Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences in 1989 and her Doctor of Medicine degree at Bruce Rappaport Faculty of Medicine in 1995. She completed an internship at Rambam Medical Center in 1993, and a residency in diagnostic radiology at Rambam in 2002. In 2003, Dr. Blumfield completed her first fellowship in neuroradiology at the University of Washington School of Medicine, followed by a second fellowship in pediatric radiology in 2005 at Children?s Hospital and Regional Medical Center, University of Washington School of Medicine. </p><p>Dr. Blumfield?s research is focused on imaging of pediatric appendicitis, as well as the safety and quality of imaging with ionizing radiation, with emphasis on CT, and safety of contrast media, especially gadolinium for MRI. Dr. Blumfield takes a special interest in improving imaging of pediatric acute appendicitis with ultrasound, a safe modality, which does not expose patients to radiation or contrast. </p><p>Dr. Blumfield has coauthored numerous original communications featured in reviewed journals and given many presentations nationally and internationally. She is a member of multiple professional societies, including the Society of Pediatric Radiology, the Radiology Society of North America and the European society of Radiology. In 2017, Dr. Blumfield won the Award for Excellence in Clinical Skills and Scholarship from the Department of Radiology at the Jacobi Medical Center. </p>

<p>Steven Benitez, MD, is an attending neuroradiologist at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Radiology at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Benitez performs and interprets advanced imaging techniques such as functional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), MRI with perfusion, and vessel wall imaging to assist ordering providers in caring for their patients.</p><p>After obtaining his Bachelor of Science from Fordham University in 2007, Dr. Benitez completed a Post-Baccalaureate at the same institution in 2008, followed by an additional Post-Baccalaureate at Mercy College in 2009. He then earned his Doctor of Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2014. Dr. Benitez completed an internal medicine internship at Jacobi Medical Center in 2015, followed by his diagnostic radiology residency at Montefiore Einstein in 2019. He remained at Montefiore Einstein to complete a diagnostic neuroradiology fellowship in 2020 and an advanced neuroradiology fellowship in 2021.</p><p>Building on his clinical expertise, Dr. Benitez&rsquo;s research focuses on neuroradiology imaging findings of various disease processes, such as aneurysms, stroke and neoplasm. His work has been published in several peer-reviewed publications, and he has shared his work through scientific presentations.</p><p>Dr. Benitez is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Neuroradiology. He is a member of the Radiological Society of North America, the American Society of Neuroradiology and the American Society of Functional Neuroradiology. In 2019, Dr. Benitez was inducted into the Leo M. Davidoff Society for his Outstanding Achievement in the Teaching of Medical Students. In 2020, he received a Certificate of Merit at the Radiologic Society of North America Conference for 3D Printing in a Radiology 3D Imaging Lab during COVID-19.</p>

<p>Jacqueline A. Bello, MD, FACR, is Director of Neuroradiology at Montefiore, and Professor of Radiology and Neurosurgery at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her clinical focus is on adult and pediatric neuroradiology, medical education, quality and safety, and healthcare policy.</p><p>Dr. Bello received her Doctor of Medicine in 1980 at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. In 1981, she completed an internship at Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital, followed by a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in 1984. In 1986, Dr. Bello completed a fellowship in Neuroradiology at the Neurological Institute, Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center.&nbsp; She is a Columbia University Alumni Gold Medalist, and has been awarded fellowship by the American College of Radiology and the NY Academy of Medicine.</p><p>Dr. Bello&rsquo;s research focuses on febrile status epilepticus and temporal lobe epilepsy. Her works have been published in many journals, abstracts, exhibits, and textbooks. It has also been shared in invited lectures and presentations nationally and internationally.</p><p>Dr. Bello is board certified by the American Board of Radiology, with a CAQ in Neuroradiology.&nbsp; In 2016, Dr. Bello received the New York Roentgen Society Distinguished Radiologist Award. She is a past president of the NY Roentgen Society, NY State Radiological Society and the American Society of Neuroradiology. She currently chairs the AMA Council on Medical Education and the Commission on Q&amp;S on the ACR Board of Chancellors.&nbsp;</p>
