Dr. Yi Guo and Dr. Grace Minamoto's study, "Customized Order-Entry Sets Can Prevent Antiretroviral Prescribing Errors: A Novel Opportunity For Antimicrobial Stewardship" was published in the May 2015 issue of Pharmacy and Therapeutics.

 


Marla Keller, MD
Dr. Marla Keller's study entitled "Cervical Precancer Risk in HIV-Infected Women Who Test Positive for Oncogenic Human Papillomavirus Despite a Normal Pap Test" was recently accepted for publication in Clinical Infectious Diseases, one of the highest impact journals in the field of infectious diseases.

Dr. Kerry Murphy and Dr. Betsy Herold (Pediatrics) published "Levels of Genital Tract Defensins and Cytokines Differ between HIV-Uninfected US and African Women" in the June 2015 issue of the American Journal of Reproductive Immunology.

Antimicrobial Stewardship Program Designated as Center of Excellence by IDSA
The Antimicrobial Stewardship Program (ASP) at Montefiore, led by medical director Priya Nori, MD, has been designated as a Center for Excellence by The Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA). It is among 25 academic sites in the nation – and one of few in New York City, to receive this prestigious recognition, which was announced on August 15, 2018.
