He has a special focus on endoscopic approaches to facial aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, minimizing visible incisions, as well as improving the facial profile through deep plane face and neck lifts, rhinoplasty, bone contouring and fat grafting to the face, body and breast.</p><p>After earning his Doctor of Medicine from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in Porto Alegre, Brazil, in 2009, Dr. Piccinini underwent general surgery residency training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in 2014. He then completed his plastic and reconstructive surgery clinical and research fellowship at the Hospital S&atilde;o Lucas of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS) and the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery in Porto Alegre in 2016.
