Student Health Services at Einstein
Albert Einstein College of Medicine in partnership with Montefiore Health System is committed to providing accessible, compassionate, and high-quality care that meets the healthcare needs of our students.
Our goal is to serve as your primary resource for occupational health, mental health, and primary care so that you can be at your best and flourish at Einstein.
Occupational Health Services (OHS)
Einstein's OHS offers the following services:
- Assistance with meeting medical requirements for entry into the medical school
- Completion of OSHA-mandated annual health assessments
- Assistance with meeting health requirements for clerkships
- Post-exposure consultation
- Completion of health forms (volunteer, visiting electives, and residency on-boarding)
- COVID related questions

OHS is located on the Einstein campus in the Forchheimer building, Room G-47. Students are encouraged to contact the OHS in advance to make appointments via 718-430-3141 or Occupational-health@einsteinmed.edu.

Primary Care Services:
Dr. Muhammad J. Anwar, M.B.B.S is the medical director of the newly established student health center and is onsite full-time to provide primary care services. Darlene LeFrancois, M.D., is on-site part-time.
- Location: 1180 Morris Park Avenue, 2nd floor, room 220. (5-minute walk from Belfer Building).
- Days and hours: Monday-Friday 9:00, a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
