Student Health Center

The Student Health Center at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in partnership with Montefiore Health System provides accessible, compassionate, and high-quality care that meets the primary care needs of our M.D. students, Ph.D. students, and postdoctoral fellows. Care is provided by appointment, and all services, except certain immunizations and lab tests, are provided free of charge for M.D. and dual M.D./Ph.D. students and with co-pays that vary based on individual insurance plans for Ph.D. students and postdocs. Our services include the following: 

• annual physical examinations  
• care for acute illnesses and injuries
• preventive health services, including immunizations
• sexual health evaluation, treatment, and counseling
• basic women’s health services
• referrals to and coordination of outside specialty care including Einstein’s Student Mental Health Center
• referrals for imaging, specialized testing, and travel health services

The Student Health Center is located at 1180 Morris Park Avenue, floor 2, room 220. Please call 347-498-2461 between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to schedule an appointment. We do not offer walk-in services, but we will try to accommodate same-day appointments whenever possible. For after-hours appointments, students can create a Montefiore Einstein MyChart account to schedule a visit or virtual urgent care appointment. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call emergency services (911) or go to the nearest hospital emergency room and notify us of your treatment as soon as possible.
