Professional Interests

Dr. Alice Guo started her medical career after graduating from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Mount Sinai St. Luke's/Mount Sinai West. Afterwards, she completed a fellowship in geriatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Moses & Weiler Division). She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics.  

Dr. Guo is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center. Her main role is as a geriatric hospitalist on the geriatrics-orthopedic co-management service at the Montefiore Wakefield campus. In 2017, this program has expanded to include the preoperative assessments of the elective orthopedic joint replacement patients. 

Dr. Guo has an interest in the comprehensive management and care of dementia patients. She began as part of the interdisciplinary team at Montefiore's Center of the Aging Brain in Yonkers and has since started her own geriatrics consultative service for patients with dementia in the Bronx. This consultative service aims to assist the Montefiore primary care groups with care of these complex patients. . 

Dr. Guo also has an interest in clinical education. She currently serves as the Assistant Geriatric Student Clerkship Site Director for the Moses Hospital site.
