Professional Interests

My research focuses on understanding the tumor immune microenvironment (TIME) in liver cancer and melanoma. The goal is to uncover the complex immune mechanisms that influence cancer progression and immune regulation. Specifically, I investigate the role of complement proteins and identify immune biomarkers that are critical in shaping immune responses in cancer patients. By utilizing a combination of human specimens, cell lines, patient-derived organoids, and various experimental models, I aim to bridge fundamental immunology with translational applications. Through my work, I hope to contribute to the development of novel immunotherapeutic strategies, ultimately paving the way for more effective and personalized cancer treatments.
