Professional Interests
Sofya Maslyanskaya MD is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College. Dr. Maslyanskaya earned her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Stony Brook University in 2004 and her medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in 2008. She completed her pediatrics residency at New York University and her fellowship in adolescent medicine at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in June, 2014. Dr. Maslyanskaya is board-certified in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine.
She is a Member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and a member of the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine (SAHM) and the SAHM electronic health committee and the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology (NASPAG).
Dr. Maslyanskaya provides adolescent sub-specialty care at the Childrens Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) and Montefiore Hutch Dr. Maslyanskaya is the medical director of the Long Acting Reversible Contraceptive (LARC) service at CHAM.
