Professional Interests

I am a clinical neurologist and psychiatrist with a particular interest in headache disorders and the comorbitiy of headache disorders with psychiatric disorders.  I have an active practice in both neurology and psychiatry, and many of my patients have both neurologic and psychiatric diagnoses.  I am board certified in Neurology, Psychiatry and Headache Medicine.

I am particularly interested in the application of interventional procedures such as nerve blocks and chemodenervation (botulinum neurotoxin or "Botox") in the treatment of migraine headaches.  I am also interested in the application of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation in the treatment of neurologic and psychiatric disorders.  My clinical practice integrates these interventional techniques with more traditional pharmacotherapy.
