Women’s Division
In 1953, a group of influential New York women were inspired by a revolutionary concept at the time: a new medical school that would welcome gifted students regardless of race, religion, gender, or creed. Today, the Women’s Division has grown to a more than 300-member group of philanthropists—now dubbed “Women Funding Science”—and has raised over $100 million to benefit research.
