Fellowship training in special care dentistry at the Rose F. Kennedy Center is designed to provide an intensive clinical year in the management of medically complex and behaviorally difficult dental patients. The clinic provides services for infants, children, adolescents and adults with problems that include physical, developmental, language and learning disabilities. The clinical curriculum includes a comprehensive approach to those problem areas, which require advanced and sophisticate treatment modes. The clinic is university-based and consequently provides frequent and close interaction with other members of the public health/developmental disabilities community.
