<p>Oscar H. Purugganan, MD, MPH, is an attending physician at the Children&rsquo;s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Purugganan&rsquo;s clinical focus is on the assessment and management of developmental problems in infants and young children and those with chronic health conditions that put them at risk for developmental problems.</p><p>After earning his Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of the Philippines in Quezon City, Philippines, in 1986, Dr. Purugganan earned his Doctor of Medicine at the University of the Philippines College of Medicine in Manila, Philippines, in 1991. He then moved to the United States to continue his medical training, completing his pediatric internship and residency at New York University Medical Center-Bellevue Hospital in 1995, his Master of Public Health from Columbia University School of Public Health in 1998, and a fellowship in behavioral pediatrics at Montefiore Einstein in 1998. Following this, Dr. Purugganan completed an additional fellowship in developmental pediatrics at the Children&rsquo;s Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center, Rose F. Kennedy Center in 1999.</p><p>Dr. Purugganan&rsquo;s research focuses on early identification of autism spectrum disorder, neonatal-follow-up, developmental surveillance and screening and intellectual disabilities. He has given many invited presentations and has shared his work through numerous peer-reviewed journals, reviews, chapters, editorials and poster presentations.</p><p>Dr. Purugganan is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in General Pediatrics, Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities.</p>

<p>Rosa M. Seijo, MD, is a Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician at the Children&rsquo;s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her clinical interests include early diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders and psychopharmacology for behavioral difficulties in children and adolescents with developmental disabilities.</p><p>In 1986, Dr. Seijo received her Bachelor of Arts in psychobiology from Wellesley College. She then attended Mount Sinai School of Medicine, earning her Doctor of Medicine in 1990. For her postgraduate training, she came to Montefiore Einstein, completing her pediatric residency in 1993 and her pediatric developmental/behavioral fellowship in 1995.</p><p>Dr. Seijo&rsquo;s research interests include children and adolescents with developmental disabilities and suicide screening in children with developmental disabilities. She has shared her work through peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, abstracts, poster presentations and invited presentations.</p><p>Dr. Seijo is board certified in Pediatrics, and Developmental/Behavioral Pediatrics. She is a member of the Developmental Behavioral Society of Greater New York.</p>

<p>Lynn Davidson, MD, graduated from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai College and completed her residency at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore. She is board certified in Pediatrics, Neurodevelopmental Disabilities and Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics.</p>
<p>Dr. Davidson has been a clinician-educator at the Children&rsquo;s Hospital At Montefiore for over two decades. In that capacity she has played an active role in teaching medical students and residents. She provides comprehensive, coordinated and appropriate care to a large population of multi-ethnic patients. She also provides co-located neurodevelopmental-behavioral consultations to the Family Care Center practice.</p>
<p>Dr. Davidson has particular interest in the successful transition of youth with special health care needs to the adult medical world. She is involved in education, published research, and quality improvement transition initiatives both locally and nationally. These included:</p>
<ul>
<li>Quality improvement project in improving provider practice methods transitioning youth with and without special health care needs to adult health care.</li>
<li>Co-chair of the Academic Pediatric Association special interest group &ldquo;Health Care Transition and Disease Self &ndash;Management&rdquo;.</li>
<li>Monthly workshops for residents during their developmental/behavioral rotation, in which we review transitional literature and practices</li>
<li>Active membership in the International Health Care Transition Research network</li>
<li>Active membership in the Montefiore Adolescent Primary Care Initiative</li>
</ul>
<p>For over 20 years, Dr. Davidson has been an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). She is on the AAP national executive committee of the Council on Children with Disabilities. She has served as co-chair of the District 2, Chapter 3 Committee on Children and Disabilities committee since 2007.</p>

Her clinical focus is on pediatrics, neurodevelopmental disabilities and developmental disabilities.</p><p>After receiving her Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in 1977, Dr. Davidson earned her Doctor of Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 1982. She pursued her postdoctoral training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, completing a three-year residency in Pediatrics in 1985.</p><p>Dr. Davidson&lsquo;s research focuses on the successful transition of youths with special healthcare needs to the adult medical world. Her work has been presented regionally, nationally and internationally and has been published in reviewed journals, abstracts and posters.</p><p>In 2015, Dr. Davidson was inducted into the Leo M. Davidoff Society for outstanding achievement in teaching medical students.
