<p>Elisa I. Mu&ntilde;iz, MD, MS, is Director of the Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics Fellowship Program at Children&rsquo;s Hospital at Montefiore. Dr. Mu&ntilde;iz&rsquo;s clinical focus is in the evaluation and management of children with developmental and behavioral issues. </p><p>Dr. Mu&ntilde;iz received her Bachelor of Science in 1998 from Binghamton University, State University of New York. In 2003, she received her Doctor of Medicine from Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Mu&ntilde;iz received her Master of Science with distinction in 2013 from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. From 2003 to 2006, she completed an internship and residency in pediatrics at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center. From 2006 to 2007 she served as Chief Resident. In 2013, she completed a fellowship in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics at the Children?s Hospital at Montefiore.</p><p>Dr. Mu&ntilde;iz&rsquo;s research has focused on the relationship between early childhood routines and young children&rsquo;s emotional development. Her work has been published in a number of journals and presented at lectures nationally. </p><p>Dr. Mu&ntilde;iz is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in General Pediatrics and Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics. <p>Lynn Davidson, MD, graduated from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai College and completed her residency at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore. She is board certified in Pediatrics, Neurodevelopmental Disabilities and Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics.</p>
<p>Dr. Davidson has been a clinician-educator at the Children&rsquo;s Hospital At Montefiore for over two decades. In that capacity she has played an active role in teaching medical students and residents. She provides comprehensive, coordinated and appropriate care to a large population of multi-ethnic patients. She also provides co-located neurodevelopmental-behavioral consultations to the Family Care Center practice.</p>
<p>Dr. Davidson has particular interest in the successful transition of youth with special health care needs to the adult medical world. She is involved in education, published research, and quality improvement transition initiatives both locally and nationally. These included:</p>
<ul>
<li>Quality improvement project in improving provider practice methods transitioning youth with and without special health care needs to adult health care.</li>
<li>Co-chair of the Academic Pediatric Association special interest group &ldquo;Health Care Transition and Disease Self &ndash;Management&rdquo;.</li>
<li>Monthly workshops for residents during their developmental/behavioral rotation, in which we review transitional literature and practices</li>
<li>Active membership in the International Health Care Transition Research network</li>
<li>Active membership in the Montefiore Adolescent Primary Care Initiative</li>
</ul>
<p>For over 20 years, Dr. Davidson has been an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). She is on the AAP national executive committee of the Council on Children with Disabilities. She has served as co-chair of the District 2, Chapter 3 Committee on Children and Disabilities committee since 2007.</p>

<p>Lynn F. Davidson, MD, FAAP, is Attending Physician at Children&rsquo;s Hospital at Montefiore and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her clinical focus is on pediatrics, neurodevelopmental disabilities and developmental disabilities.</p><p>After receiving her Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in 1977, Dr. Davidson earned her Doctor of Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 1982. She pursued her postdoctoral training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, completing a three-year residency in Pediatrics in 1985.</p><p>Dr. Davidson&lsquo;s research focuses on the successful transition of youths with special healthcare needs to the adult medical world. Her work has been presented regionally, nationally and internationally and has been published in reviewed journals, abstracts and posters.</p><p>In 2015, Dr. Davidson was inducted into the Leo M. Davidoff Society for outstanding achievement in teaching medical students. Dr. Davidson is board certified in Pediatrics, Neurodevelopmental Disabilities, Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics, and is a member of several professional associations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Academic Pediatrics Association.
