The Annual Warren Wetzel, MD Trauma/Emergency Medicine Symposium established in 1999 was the first conference of its kind in the New York-Connecticut-New Jersey tri-state region.
This conference solely dedicated to the management of the trauma patient remains at the forefront of educating trauma providers (physicians, nurses, emergency medical center, etc.) in the region and among New York City’s 16 ACS verified trauma centers. The Symposium has been able to attract nationally and internationally recognized faculty in the world of trauma to Jacobi Hospital in the Bronx.
