<p>David L. Rosenstreich, MD, is Director, Allergy and Immunology and Professor, Medicine at Montefiore Einstein. His clinical focus centers on allergic skin diseases, chronic sinusitis and asthma.</p><p>After obtaining his Bachelor of Science from The City College of New York in 1963, Dr. Rosenstreich earned his Doctor of Medicine from New York University School of Medicine in 1967. He completed his residency in medicine at Einstein in 1969 before becoming a Clinical Associate at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease, National Institutes of Health until 1971. Dr. Rosenstreich became a Senior Staff Associate until 1972 before moving to the National Institute of Dental Research, National Institutes of Health, where he was Senior Investigator until 1980.</p><p>Building on his clinical focus, Dr. Rosenstreich&rsquo;s research focuses on the relationship between decreased allergic capacity (immunoglobulin E deficiency) and susceptibility for developing a malignancy. His work has been published in 159 peer-reviewed papers, 64 invited articles and 4 edited books/monographs. Dr. Rosenstreich has been an editor for several scientific journals, such as the <em>Journal of Immunology, Infection</em> and <em>Immunity and Annals of Allergy, Asthma &amp; Immunology</em>.</p><p>Dr. Rosenstreich is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Physicians, the American Society for Clinical Investigation and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Dr. Rosenstreich has won numerous awards for his work, including the Leo M. Davidoff Society for Excellence in Medical Education Award in 2017. <p>Dr. Michael L. Rinke, MD, PhD, MBA is the Vice President and Chief Quality Officer for Montefiore Medical Center and Director of Dissemination and Implementation Science and a Professor of Pediatrics at The Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Rinke&rsquo;s research focuses on the application of behavior change techniques and implementation science to improve the quality of care delivered to children in both the inpatient and ambulatory settings.</p>
<p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; letter-spacing: 0.15pt;">Dr. Rinke was the PI on his 3<sup>rd</sup> AHRQ R01 grant (R01HS026239) investigating how to ensure every child receives guideline compliant and timely hypertension diagnosis and management. He was previously PI on two AHRQ R01 grants (R01HS24432 &amp; R01HS023608) examining multiple pediatric ambulatory healthcare-associated infections and the effects of a national quality improvement collaborative on ambulatory pediatric diagnostic errors. He is corresponding-PI on an AHRQ Learning Healthcare System training K12 grant (K12HS026396) and co-investigator on the Einstein Clinical and Translational Science Award (UL1TR001073) as co-Director of the Health Research and Implementation Core. Dr. Rinke has extensive experience leading quality improvement collaboratives, publishing rigorous dissemination and implementation science, and successfully directing large research teams.&nbsp;</span></p>
<p>Dr. Rinke completed his medical and pediatric residency training at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He received his Doctorate in Clinical Investigation from the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health and his Master of Business Administration at Marist College.</p>

He remained at Johns Hopkins to complete his pediatric internship and residency in 2010 and his Doctor of Philosophy in clinical investigation in 2013. Dr. Rinke later went on to complete his Master of Business Administration with a healthcare concentration at Marist College in 2021.</p><p>Dr. Rinke&rsquo;s research focuses on the application of behavior change techniques and implementation science to improve the quality of care delivered to children in both the inpatient and ambulatory settings. He has been principal investigator and co-investigator on numerous funded research projects, and his work has been shared through many peer-reviewed publications and invited presentations. <p>Marina Reznik, MD, MS, is Attending Physician at Children&rsquo;s Hospital at Montefiore and Professor of Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her clinical focus is on pediatrics.</p><p>In 1995, Dr. Reznik earned her Bachelor of Arts from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York. She then attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, receiving her Doctor of Medicine in 2000. She continued at Albert Einstein College of Medicine for her postgraduate training, completing a three-year residency in Social Pediatrics in 2003. From 2003 to 2005, she was a clinical research fellow at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, earning her Master of Science in Clinical Research in 2005.</p><p>Dr. Reznik&rsquo;s research focuses on the development and evaluation of community-, clinic- and school-based interventions to improve the healthcare services and outcomes for children with asthma. She is an author of over 80 publications in peer-reviewed journals, book chapters and editorials, and her research has been presented both nationally and internationally. </p><p>In 2019, Dr. Reznik was selected for the New York Super Doctors list in <em>New York Times Magazine</em>. She is board certified and is a member of several professional associations, including the Society for Pediatric Research and the Academic Pediatrics Association.</p>

As an investigator in the Regional Prospective&nbsp;Observational Research in Tuberculosis (RePORT) cohort in Puducherry and Tamil Nadu, India&nbsp;her work focused on the impact of smoking and biomass fuel use on TB Disease and its treatment outcomes.&nbsp;She is&nbsp;currently developing a database of patients with non-tuberculous mycobacterial infections seen at Montefiore Medical Center in collaboration with the Division of Infectious Diseases. The goal of this project is to better characterize the natural history&nbsp;and clinical outcomes of these infections.&nbsp;&nbsp;She is also involved in the&nbsp;Women&rsquo;s Interagency HIV Study (WIHS) as the Bronx site pulmonologist and co-investigator to assess the impact of HIV on the development of chronic lung diseases.</span></p>

<p>Divya Reddy, MD, MPH, is Program Director, Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship and Associate Professor, Medicine at Montefiore Einstein. Her clinical focus centers on bronchiectasis, nontuberculous mycobacterial infections, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma and interstitial lung disease.</p><p>After earning her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College in Mumbai, India in 2006, Dr. Reddy moved to the United States to continue her medical training, earning her Master of Public Health at Boston University in 2008. She remained there to complete her internal medicine internship in 2009, followed by her internal medicine residency in 2011. Dr. Reddy then completed a pulmonary and critical care fellowship at Boston University in 2014.</p><p>Building on her clinical experience, Dr. Reddy&rsquo;s research is focused on bronchiectasis and nontuberculous mycobacterial infections. She has been principal investigator and co-investigator on several funded research projects, and her work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, review articles and abstracts. She has also given national and international invited presentations, and is a reviewer for scientific journals including the <em>Journal of American Geriatric Society</em>, <em>Annals of American Thoracic Society</em> and the <em>Journal of Infectious &amp; Non-Infectious Diseases</em>, among others.</p><p>Dr. Reddy is board certified in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American Thoracic Society, the American College of Chest Physicians and the Association of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Program Directors. In 2014 and 2015, Dr. Reddy received the Potts Memorial Foundation Grant award.</p>

<p>Dr. Manish Ramesh was appointed assistant professor in the Einstein/Montefiore Division of Allergy and Immunology in July 2014. He is director of the Montefiore Medical Center Food Allergy Centers in Scarsdale and the Bronx.</p>
<p>Dr. Ramesh completed fellowship training in Allergy and Immunology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and residency training in internal medicine at Jacobi Medical Center, where he was best overall resident (PGY3) in 2011. He attended medical school in India at S.C.B. Medical College and subsequently obtained his Ph.D. in immunology from University of Connecticut Health Center.</p>

<p>Dr. David Prezant is the Chief Medical Officer at the Office of Medical Affairs for the Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY). Dr. Prezant directs all medical protocol development for both day-to-day operations and homeland security issues. He is also Co-Director of the FDNY World Trade Center Medical Monitoring Program and the Senior Pulmonary Consultant for FDNY.</p>

<p>Dr. Prezant is a member of the Institute of Medicine's Committee on Personal Protective Equipment in the Workplace, the National Fire Protection Association's Health and Safety Committee, and the International Association of Firefighters Redmond Medical Advisory Board. He is a Professor of Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine; Director of Albert Einstein Medical School's Pulmonary Course for medical students and the Research Director for their Unified Pulmonary Division.</p>

<p>Dr. Prezant responded on 9/11/01 to the World Trade Center and was present during the collapse and its aftermath. Since that day, he and Dr. Kelly (FDNY's Chief Medical Officer at the Bureau of Health Services) have initiated a multi-million dollar medical monitoring and treatment program for FDNY firefighters funded by FDNY, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH).</p>

<p>Dr. Prezant is the Principal Investigator for the FDNY Data Coordinating Center for the WTC Medical Monitoring Program and is on the Steering Committee for the WTC Medical Monitoring Program. He served as a member of the EPA WTC Technical Advisory Committee, the NYC Dept of Health WTC Registry Scientific Advisory Board, the NYS Governor's WTC panel and the NYC Mayor's medical advisory board.</p>

<p>Dr. Prezant has written extensively on pulmonary physiology, firefighter health and safety and since 9/11 on the health impact of World Trade Center Collapse on NYC Firefighters and EMS rescue workers. His group was the first to describe WTC Cough Syndrome (New England Journal of Medicine 2002) and has published extensively on this subject in the CDC MMWR, American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, Chest and Environmental Health Perspectives.</p>

<p>His major research interest is in determining the mechanisms responsible for accelerated decline in longitudinal pulmonary function and/or airway hyperreactivity in firefighters after WTC exposure. Other interests are in determining the mechanisms responsible for the increased incidence of sarcoidosis in firefighters after WTC exposure.</p>

<p>Jillian Parekh, MD, is an Attending Physician in the Division of Academic General Pediatrics at Children&rsquo;s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her clinical focus is caring for children in the Montefiore community, including preventative medicine, developmental and educational growth, mental health concerns and addressing acute and chronic illness. Dr. Parekh joined Montefiore in 2011.</p><p>Dr. Parekh attended Brown University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Biomedical Ethics. In 2005, she received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She completed an internship and residency in pediatrics at CHAM and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, becoming Chief Resident in 2008.</p><p>Dr. Parekh&rsquo;s academic focus is on medical education. She has spoken at many presentations nationally, helping train and educate future pediatricians.</p><p>She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, and a member of the Academic Pediatric Association.</p>

<p>Dr. Oyeku is Chief of the Division of Academic General Pediatrics at the Children&rsquo;s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM). She is also Professor of Pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Oyeku manages the clinical, research, advocacy and educational missions of the division in addition to being responsible for faculty and staff development.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Dr. Oyeku is a general pediatrician with expertise in health services research, implementation science and the use of quality improvement methods to disseminate effective care strategies and improve care and patient outcomes for children with chronic diseases such as sickle cell disease. Dr. Oyeku&rsquo;s clinical activities are focused on providing pediatric primary care and inpatient care at Children&rsquo;s Hospital at Montefiore. Dr. Oyeku also has expertise providing specialized care to children and adolescents with sickle cell disease.</p>
<p>Dr. Oyeku&rsquo; s research activities are focused on understanding health services utilization patterns and improving the quality of care for children and adolescents with sickle cell disease. Dr. Oyeku also serves as Medical Director for the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) funded Sickle Cell Disease Treatment Demonstration Program National Coordinating Center at the National Institute for Children&rsquo;s Health Quality (NICHQ). <p>On a regional and national level, Dr. Oyeku has also served on advisory panels and committees focused on sickle cell disease and improving healthcare quality for children and adolescents. She completed a three year term as the Treasurer for the Academic Pediatrics Association, a professional society representing 2,000 child health providers in the US.</p>
<p>She holds a Bachelor&rsquo;s of Science degree in Biomedicine from the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at the City College of New York. Dr. Oyeku received her medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency training at the Boston Combined Residency Program in Pediatrics at Boston Medical Center and Boston Children&rsquo;s Hospital. Dr. Oyeku also completed fellowship training at the Harvard Pediatric Health Services Research Fellowship program at Boston Children&rsquo;s Hospital. She received her Master&rsquo;s degree in Public Health with a concentration in clinical effectiveness at the Harvard School of Public Health.&nbsp; She is also a graduate of the <em>Hedwig van Ameringen </em>Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine (ELAM), a program of Drexel University College of Medicine. Dr. Oyeku is also actively engaged in community education activities and serves as an ordained deacon at Grace Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, NY.</p>

Biography

<p>Suzette Oyeku, MD, MPH, is a general pediatrician and health services researcher. She is Associate Division Chief for Academic Affairs within the division of general pediatrics at CHAM. In this capacity, she oversees a broad array of activities, including stewardship of divisional research initiatives and faculty development activities.</p><p>In addition to general pediatrics, Dr. Oyeku has particular interest in Quality Improvement, sickle cell disease, and faculty development and community education activities.</p><p>Since 2008, Dr. Oyeku has served as Co-Director of Pediatric Grand Rounds at CHAM.</p><p>Dr. Oyeku received her MD from NYU School of Medicine and her MPH from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She completed her residency at the Boston Combined Residency Program in Pediatrics, Department of Medicine, Boston Children's Hospital and Department of Pediatrics, Boston Medical Center.</p><p>She also completed a Harvard Pediatric Health Services Research Fellowship Program at Boston Children's Hospital.</p><p>Dr. Oyeku was a recipient of the Dean&rsquo;s Award for Community Service from Harvard Medical School.</p>
