She then earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2017 before completing her Pediatric Residency at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore in 2021, where she was Chief Resident in her final year. Following this, Dr. Pressimone completed a clinical fellowship in pediatric hospital medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in 2024.</p><p>Dr. Pressimone&rsquo;s research focuses on children with medical complexities and transitions of care, particularly between inpatient care and their medical home. <p class="MsoNormal">Theresa Serra, MD, joined the CHAM hospitalist division in 2014 after working as a pediatric hospitalist at New York Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital. Her interests include clinical research and medical education. She has conducted an IRB approved retrospective chart review examining readmission rates in pediatric patients diagnosed with osteomyelitis. Dr. Serra is currently developing a medical Spanish curriculum for faculty members in order to improve communication between patients, families and providers. Along with Courtney McNamara, MD, Dr. Serra is a co-leader of a multidisciplinary committee dedicated to standardizing and improving quality of care for patients hospitalized with the diagnosis of failure to thrive. Dr. Serra is also working on an initiative to identify vaccine delinquency in the inpatient setting through the use of SMART reports.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">Dr. Serra is also collaborating with Lindsey Douglas, MD, MSCR, in an IRB approved quality improvement (QI) project to improve transition-of-care communication between hospitalists and primary care providers and to facilitate the establishment of medical homes. Dr. Serra is also a member of a subcommittee that leads monthly journal clubs/case conferences for pediatric hospitalists.</p>

<p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; letter-spacing: 0.15pt;">Dr. Rinke was the PI on his 3<sup>rd</sup> AHRQ R01 grant (R01HS026239) investigating how to ensure every child receives guideline compliant and timely hypertension diagnosis and management. He was previously PI on two AHRQ R01 grants (R01HS24432 &amp; R01HS023608) examining multiple pediatric ambulatory healthcare-associated infections and the effects of a national quality improvement collaborative on ambulatory pediatric diagnostic errors. He is corresponding-PI on an AHRQ Learning Healthcare System training K12 grant (K12HS026396) and co-investigator on the Einstein Clinical and Translational Science Award (UL1TR001073) as co-Director of the Health Research and Implementation Core. Dr. Rinke has extensive experience leading quality improvement collaboratives, publishing rigorous dissemination and implementation science, and successfully directing large research teams.&nbsp;</span></p>
<p>Dr. Rinke completed his medical and pediatric residency training at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
