Limited Submissions There are times when a sponsor will only accept a specified number of applications from a given institution.Therefore, only a limited number of researchers can apply. In these cases, the Awards Committee reviews internal candidates first and recommends individuals to the Dean of the College for: Award of intramural grants and fellowships and Nomination as candidates for extramural grant competitions that limit the number of Einstein applicants. Internal applications for both types of programs are solicited from the Einstein community via email. Potential applicants may use the links below to choose awards programs and prepare applications. Announcements of internal competitions for extramural funding candidacy are sent via email approximately 1-2 months before the internal application deadline. Potential applicants should read the complete official guidelines for each funding program of interest to confirm eligibility and assess competitiveness. All questions and concerns should be clarified prior to submitting an internal application. [When available, internet addresses for external agency guidelines will be provided in the announcements]. Internal applications must be submitted to OGS by the internal deadline and include all items requested in the announcement. Applicants will not be informed of missing items prior to application review. Internal applications do not require submission of Grant Approval Form GA6742 Download the Candidate Profile Form (non-fillable) or Fillable Candidate Profile Form (requires Adobe software). The recommended format for curriculum vitae may be found here. OGS will submit the application packages to the Awards Committee, who will send their selections to the Dean's Office. The Dean will write a nomination letter for the selected candidates. Approximately 1.5 months prior to the external deadline, OGS will inform all candidates will of the outcome of the Awards Committee review. No written or verbal critique of applications will be transmitted. Candidates selected to submit formal applications to external funding agencies may request assistance in proposal preparation from the Office of Grant Support. Formal applications to external sponsors require internal routing through Cayuse and will be submitted by OGS, according to the sponsor guidelines. ×
