<p>Mark Schoenberg, MD, is a Chair, Urology and Professor, Urology at Montefiore Einstein. As a distinguished leader in the field of urology, Dr. Schoenberg's clinical focus centers on the treatment of bladder cancer.</p>

<p>After receiving his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in 1986, Dr. Schoenberg completed his residency in general surgery and urology in 1992 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he served as chief resident and urology instructor. He then completed basic research and clinical urologic oncology fellowships in 1994 at Johns Hopkins Hospital under the auspices of the American Cancer Society.</p>

<p>Prior to joining Montefiore in 2014, Dr. Schoenberg served as Director of Urologic Oncology and Bernard L. Schwartz Distinguished Professor of Urology at Johns Hopkins Hospital. During his 20-year tenure at Johns Hopkins, his clinical practice and research focused on caring for patients with all forms of bladder cancer.</p>

<p>Dr. Schoenberg is board certified by the American Board of Urology and is an active scholar, writer and editor. <p>Dr. Sankin is an academic surgeon in the Department of Urology, at Montefiore Medical Center with a clinical focus on surgical approaches to the management of urologic malignancies of the upper urinary tract and bladder. <p>Dr. Sankin is the site-Principal Investigator for multiple clinical trials studying novel therapeutics for patients with bladder cancer who wish to avoid radical cystectomy. Her clinical focus is general urology with a special interest in endourology and male and female voiding dysfunction. <p>Franklin C. Lowe, MD, Professor of Urology and Vice-Chair of the Department, is also Director of Urologic Services, Jack D. Weiler Hospital. An expert in the treatment of benign and malignant disorders of the prostate, Dr. Lowe has published over 150 articles on multiple urological topics and has lectured extensively throughout the world. Prior to joining The Department of Urology at Montefiore, Dr. Lowe held faculty and leadership positions at Columbia University, Mount Sinai School of Medicine and at St. Luke&rsquo;s/ Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan. A Graduate of Princeton University, Dr. Lowe obtained both his Medical and Masters of Public Health degrees from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. <p>Miriam Harel, MD, is an attending physician and Assistant Professor, Urology at Montefiore-Einstein. Dr. Harel specializes in a comprehensive spectrum of pediatric urologic care, with a particular interest in reconstructive surgery, neurogenic and non-neurogenic voiding dysfunction, prenatal hydronephrosis and posterior urethral valves.</p><p>In 2003, Dr. Harel earned her Bachelor of Arts in psychology at Brooklyn College, State University of New York (SUNY), as part of a combined BA/MD program in conjunction with SUNY Downstate. In 2007 she completed the program, receiving her Doctor of Medicine degree. She began her postdoctoral training with SUNY Downstate College of Medicine, completing an internship in general surgery in 2008 and a urology residency in 2012. She then undertook a pediatric urology fellowship at Connecticut Children&rsquo;s Medical Center, completing it in 2015.</p><p>Dr. Harel&rsquo;s research focuses on renal injury secondary to obstruction and infection, as well as clinical outcomes research regarding treatment of vesicoureteral reflux and pediatric varicocele.
