Jillian Connors, MD, FAAP, is a neonatologist and Assistant Professor, Pediatrics at Montefiore Einstein. Dr. Connors is a neonatal-perinatal medicine specialist, and in her clinical role, she cares for critically ill and preterm infants with a wide variety of acute and chronic healthcare needs.After obtaining her Bachelor of Science in biology from Canisius College in 2007, Dr. Connors earned her Doctor of Medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2011. She then attended the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she completed her pediatric internship and residency in 2014 and became Chief Resident until 2015. Dr. Connors also completed a neonatal-perinatal fellowship at this institution in 2018.Building on her clinical focus, Dr. Connors’ research focuses on quality improvement, simulation, neonatal nutrition and breastfeeding. Her work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals and abstracts.Dr. Connors is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in General Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. Deborah Campbell, MD, FAAP, is Professor of Pediatrics and Associate Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Women’s Health at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and at attending neonatologist at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore. She conducted the Low-birth-weight infant Evaluation and Assessment Program (LEAP) clinic from 1988 through December 2022 and served as the Chief of Neonatology from 1994 until 2023. Her research and clinical interests include health services delivery, global perinatal heath care, perinatal ethics, shared decision-making and palliative care education, family integrated care in the neonatal intensive care unit and neonatal outcomes for very preterm and medically complex infants.  
Dr. Campbell is a member of the Academic Pediatric Society and a fellow at the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Academic Pediatric Association. Dr. Campbell has an active role in perinatal activities at the NY City and State, and national levels, currently serving on the Hospice & Palliative Care Association of NYS Children's Advisory Group, the NYS Perinatal Quality Collaborative Neonatal Expert Workgroup, NYS DOH Maternity Care Clinical Advisory Group, the American Academy of Pediatrics Section of Neonatal Perinatal Medicine High-Risk Infant Follow-up Workgroup, The Bronx Fetal and Infant Mortality Review (FIMR) Committee and the Bronx Maternal Health Care Steering Committee.  
 Dr. Campbell co-chaired the Bright Futures Guidelines, 4th edition Infancy Expert Panel (2017) and serves as an editor of, and contributor to, the American Academy of Pediatrics Textbook of Pediatric Care, the electronic companion tool, Pediatric Care On-line and the Quick Reference Guide to Pediatric Care, Neonatal Care: A Quick Reference Deck and the textbook, Neonatology for Primary Care.

Dr. Campbell, Program Director for the fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and Director of the Division of Neonatology at The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, conducts the Low Birth Weight Infant Evaluation and Assessment Program (LEAP). She focuses on perinatal care and health services delivery, psychosocial support interventions for mothers of premature babies, perinatal ethics and collaborative decision-making, outcomes for very low birth weight infants and newborn hearing screening. She is a co-chair of the Faculty Mentoring Work Group of the Education and Faculty Support Committee at Einstein and led a faculty development initiative within the Department of Pediatrics.A member of the National March of Dimes Bioethics Committee and NICU Family Support Project Advisory Group, Dr. Campbell also serves on the New York City and Bronx Infant Mortality Review Committees and is a co-chair of the Bronx Regional Perinatal Forum. She is a member of the Greater New York Hospital Association Perinatal Safety Collaborative Advisory Group and the National Quality Forum Perinatal Collaborative and the New York State Obstetric and Neonatal Quality Collaborative, Neonatology Expert Workgroup. Dr. Campbell also serves on the New York State Palliative Care Education and Training Council. Dr. Campbell is the recipient of the 2000 Bronx Perinatal Consortium Distinguished Clinical Care Award, the 2005 New York State Perinatal Association L. Stanley James Award and the 2009 National Perinatal Association Stan Graven Award. She has been recognized by Castle Connolly and the New York Magazine in their lists of Best Doctors.

Nitya Abraham, MD, Associate Professor, Urology, specializes in the treatment of men and women with voiding dysfunction and diseases of the pelvic floor. A summa cum laude graduate of the University of Connecticut, Dr. Abraham obtained her MD degree as well as her surgical and urology residency training at New York University. Dr. Abraham completed fellowship training in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Abraham is the recipient of the Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellowship, the International Volunteers in Urology and Medicine Traveling Resident Scholar Award to Uganda, and the 2015 Clinical Science Essay Competition Winner sponsored by the Society for Urodynamics and Female Pelvic Medicine, and Urogenital Reconstruction.

Biography

Nitya Abraham, MD, Associate Professor of Urology and Obstetrics and Gynecology, joined Montefiore in 2015 as a specialist in female pelvic medicine and lower urinary tract reconstruction. Upon graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Connecticut, Dr. Abraham completed her medical degree as well as her urology residency training at New York University. She completed her fellowship training in pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at Cleveland Clinic. At Montefiore, she established the pelvic floor program in collaboration with colleagues in the Ob/Gyn department, which offers state of the art treatment for pelvic floor disorders. She is an active member of the Society of Urodynamics, Female Pelvic Medicine and Urogenital Reconstruction (SUFU). She is also focused on medical education and has been urology residency program director since 2020 and member of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine curriculum committee since 2022. She has over 45 peer-reviewed publications and has been funded by research grants from the Department of Defense and SUFU. She specializes in treating urinary incontinence, vaginal prolapse, urethral reconstruction, urinary fistula, mesh complications, and more, using robotic, open, or vaginal approaches depending on what is best suited for her patients.
