Caryn R.R. Rodgers
<p>Dr. Rodgers focuses on adolescent health promotion in low-income urban communities. Her research examines protective and risk factors for adolescent problem behaviors (i.e., sexual risk behaviors and substance use). Through the employment of community-based participatory research (CBPR) as a research approach, Dr. Rodgers works with communities, families and youth to further understand protective factors that promote resiliency, strength and adaptive functioning among economically disadvantaged urban youth of color. Through the identification and promotion of resilience within communities, she intends to develop and promote effective prevention and intervention programming to increase adaptive and successful outcomes for low-income urban youth and families of color.</p><p>Dr. Caryn Rodgers earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from St. John's University in Jamaica, NY. Following completion of her doctorate, Dr. Rodgers completed the Leadership in Education and Adolescent Health (LEAH) psychology fellowship in adolescent medicine through Harvard Medical School. Subsequently, she completed a fellowship in Community-Based Participatory Research as a W. K. Kellogg Community Health Scholar in the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. <br /></p>
Erin Rivelis

<p>Erin Rivelis, PhD, is an attending psychologist at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Rivelis’s clinical focus centers on the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disabilities.</p><p>After obtaining her Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Michigan in 2002, Dr. Rivelis earned her Master of Education in school psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University in 2006. She remained at Columbia University and completed her Master of Philosophy and Doctor of Philosophy in applied educational psychology in 2008. The same year, Dr. Rivelis completed a psychology internship at the Jewish Care Association’s Pleasantville Cottage School, Edenwald Center, Diagnostic Center.</p><p>Dr. Rivelis’s research focuses on the intersection of mental health conditions and neurodevelopmental disabilities. Her work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, books, chapters and review articles, and she has shared her work at many invited presentations, conferences and symposia.</p><p>Dr. Rivelis is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Psychological Association, the Anxiety and Depression Association of America and the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies.</p>
Rachel H. Noone
<p class="x_MsoNormal">Rachel Noone, MD is an inpatient psychiatrist at Montefiore Medical Center Wakefield Division. She specializes in the treatment of individuals with severe persistent mental illness, including those with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Her interests include emergency psychiatry, and clinical research. She is also the Montefiore Wakefield Division Site Director for the Albert Einsteain College of Medicine 3rd year medical student clerkship in psychiatry. Dr. Noone completed her psychiatric residency at Montefiore Medical Center and also completed a two year research fellowship at the Montefiore Autism and Obsessive Compulsive Spectrum Program and Anxiety and Depression Program. She earned her MD from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, and completed college at The University of Pittsburgh with a dual major B.A. in film studies and business.</p>

Andrei Y. Nagorny
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 110%;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 110%; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif;">Dr. Andrei Nagorny is a psychiatrist working on the inpatient psychiatric unit at Montefiore Hospital, Wakefield Division. His interests are in Inpatient Psychiatry, Emergency Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychotherapy, Consultation Liaison Psychiatry, and Substance Abuse. As a clinician, educator, and Assistant Professor on the faculty at Montefiore Hospital/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Nagorny has been involved in the training of medical students, residents, and fellows. </span><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 110%; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif;">Dr. Nagorny is currently Director of inpatient psychiatry services at Montefiore Hospital Center, Wakefiled Division. He is dually board certified in both Adult and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Nagorny completed his Adult Psychiatry Residency and Child Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Social Work from Columbia University, and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. </span></p>
Adele T. Munsayac

Munsayac is a board-certified psychiatrist with over 28 years of experience treating adults, adolescents and children in a variety of settings. While she primarily focuses on emergency room assessment, diagnosis and crisis intervention, she is also a provider in the Adult Outpatient Department of Psychiatry at the Moses campus. She provides lectures to first-year psychiatry residents centered on emergency evaluations and crisis intervention for children and adolescents, and supervises residents, Child fellows, medical students, Psychology Interns, and Social Workers</span></span></p>

Elisa I. Muniz
Dr. Muñiz’s clinical focus is in the evaluation and management of children with developmental and behavioral issues.
Dr. Muñiz’s research has focused on the relationship between early childhood routines and young children’s emotional development.
<p>Elisa I. Muñiz, MD, MS, is Director of the Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics Fellowship Program at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore. Dr. Muñiz’s clinical focus is in the evaluation and management of children with developmental and behavioral issues. </p><p>Dr. Muñiz received her Bachelor of Science in 1998 from Binghamton University, State University of New York. In 2003, she received her Doctor of Medicine from Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Muñiz received her Master of Science with distinction in 2013 from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. From 2003 to 2006, she completed an internship and residency in pediatrics at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center. From 2006 to 2007 she served as Chief Resident. In 2013, she completed a fellowship in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics at the Children?s Hospital at Montefiore.</p><p>Dr. Muñiz’s research has focused on the relationship between early childhood routines and young children’s emotional development. Teresa Hsu-Walklet
Dr. Hsu-Walklet focuses on Pediatric Psychology, treating children, adolescents and families. <p>Teresa Hsu-Walklet, PhD, is an Attending Psychologist for the Behavioral Health Integration Program (BHIP) at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) and an Instructor of Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her clinical focus is evidence-based psychotherapy with children, adolescents and families to address challenges including anxiety and mood disorders, behavioral issues, trauma, adjustment issues and parent-child relationship problems. Dr. Hsu-Walklet joined Montefiore in 2014.</p><p>Dr. Hsu-Walklet attended Northwestern University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She then received her Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology from George Washington University in 2011. Dr. Hsu-Walklet completed an internship in Psychology at Kings County Hospital Center, followed by a Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship at New York University in the Department of Cariology and Comprehensive Care.</p><p>Dr. Hsu-Walklet’s research focuses on collaborative care in a primary care setting, multi-level and systemic understanding of child and adolescent mental health, prevention, and population health. Her work has been presented nationally and published in reviewed journals.</p>
Jason P. Herrick
<p>Dr. Herrick, M.D. currently serves as the Director of Psychiatry for the Pediatric Behavioral Health Integration Program (BHIP). He has been affiliated with Montefiore and Albert Einstein College of Medicine since 2008 when he begun his psychiatry residency. He completed his Child and Adolescent fellowship in 2013 and worked briefly at the New York City Children's Center - Bronx Campus, before returning to Montefiore full time.</p>
<p>Jason Herrick, MD, is an attending physician at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore Einstein, Director, Behavioral Health at Montefiore Medical Group and Assistant Professor, Pediatrics and Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Herrick’s career has focused on improving access to psychiatric services across the lifespan by supporting and leading the integration of mental health services into primary care practices.</p><p>After obtaining his Post-Baccalaureate Certificate from Columbia University School of General Studies in 2004, Dr. Herrick earned his Doctor of Medicine at New York Medical College in 2008. He completed his residency in general psychiatry at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2011, followed by a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the same institution in 2013.</p><p>Dr. Herrick is board certified in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. </p>
Maria F. Gomez
<p>María Fernanda Gómez, M.D. is Associate Director of Psychosomatic Medicine, Associate Director of Residency Training, and Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.</p>
<p>Dr. Gómez received her medical degree from the University of Salamanca, Spain and completed her residency at New York Medical College/Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center. She was awarded the American Cancer Society Clinical Oncology fellowship and the Linda Pollin Foundation Fellowship in Medical Crisis Counseling during her fellowship in Psychosomatic Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and is the recipient of the American Psychiatric Association Nancy C. A. Roske, M.D. Certificate of Excellence in Medical Student Education. She has successfully completed multiple subspecialty board certifications, including Psychosomatic Medicine, Geriatric, Addiction, and Forensic psychiatry and is one of the very few psychiatrists to be certified in Pain Medicine.</p>
