One45
One45 is an evaluation software to distribute and collect evaluations, including course evaluations, thesis
research and laboratory rotation evaluations, Student Advisory Committee evaluations, and other kinds of
evaluations. One45 enables more efficient data collection as the evaluations are moved into this electronic
platform.
Provided below are instructions on completing and submitting different types of evaluations.

Student Advisory Committee Meetings (SAC)
The purpose of the Student Advisory Committee (SAC) is to provide critical feedback on the research plan, to
assess experimental progress, and to advise the student when to write/defend the Thesis. The SAC is charged with
aiding the student in moving efficiently towards the PhD degree, while at the same time maximizing the
significance and impact of the thesis research.
Prior to the meeting, the student must complete the student form, and distribute the member and chair report
forms to their SAC through One45.
Student Course Evaluation
Each student in a graduate course must complete a course evaluation form for the course. Evaluations to complete
will be listed in your “To-Dos” in One45. The course evaluation is due by the end of the course and is
anonymous.
Thesis Research Evaluation
Thesis mentors must submit a Thesis Research Evaluation for each of their current graduate students.
Thesis mentors: Log into One45 with your Monte AD credentials. The evaluation will be listed in your “To-Dos”.
Once the mentor submits the evaluation, students will see the completed evaluation in the Results section of
their
“To-Dos”.
The student is evaluated on the following:
- How effectively does the student work at the bench?
- How effectively does the student orally communicate in presentations?
- How effectively does the student communicate in writing?
- How effectively/critically does the student evaluate experimental data?
- How well does the student maintain a laboratory notebook?
- How is the student's general attitude and ability to get along with others in the lab?
- How is the student's attendance and participation in meetings, seminars, journal clubs?
Laboratory Rotation Evaluation
Each rotation mentor must submit a Laboratory Rotation Evaluation for each rotating graduate student.
Rotation mentor: Log into One45 with your Monte AD credentials. The evaluation will be listed in your “To-Dos”.
Once the mentor submits the evaluation, the student will see the completed evaluation in the Results section of
their
“To-Dos”.
