The Academic Calendar of the Graduate Programs in the Biomedical Sciences consists of three semesters: summer, fall, and spring. The fall semester consists of course Block I, Rotation Period I and fall Thesis Research. The spring semester consists of two course blocks (Blocks II and III), two rotation periods (Rotation Periods II and III), and spring Thesis Research. The summer semester consists of the summer course block and laboratory research. The academic calendar outlines the specific dates of each course block, rotation period, and thesis research period, registration dates and deadlines, course add/drop and withdrawal dates, and program holidays.
