All Ph.D. and MD/Ph.D. students receive an annual stipend and full tuition remission for all
the years of their training.
Stipend
Graduate students are awarded a stipend of $50,000 per year. This stipend is provided to cover the costs
of living expenses while in the graduate program.
Tuition Remission
All graduate students in the Ph.D. are guaranteed full tuition remission for all years in the
program.
Subsidized On-Campus Housing
Graduate students at Einstein are afforded a low cost of living through guaranteed subsidized housing
on campus. The student
residence complex is located directly across the street from the Einstein academic buildings and have
easy access to NYC public transportation. Students living on campus are housed in shared apartments with
other Einstein students.
Approximate cost of rent:
- $535/month per person for a shared 3-person apartment
- $625/month per person for a shared 2-person apartment
- $893/month a private studio apartment
Health Insurance
Health insurance is provided at no cost for graduate students and is also available for the dependents of
graduate students for a monthly fee. Dental insurance is also provided to graduate students for a
monthly fee.
