<p>With an emphasis on general pediatrics and neonatology, Dr. Thompson completed her residency at NYU Medical Center in 2007 and fellowship at Yale-New Haven Hospital in 2010. During her fellowship, Dr. Thompson also audited the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program, with an interest in performing clinical research. Her research has focused on the role of cytokines in bronchopulmonary dysplasia and use of ultrasound to diagnose necrotizing enterocolitis. She plans to conduct research on the use of near-infrared spectroscopy to delineate central nervous system pathology in preterm infants and predict short-term neurologic outcomes.</p>

<p>Kimberly J. Reidy, MD, is Chief, Division of Pediatric Nephrology and Associate Professor at Children&rsquo;s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) and Montefiore Einstein. Her clinical focus is on the treatment of hypertension and childhood-onset kidney disease. She has particular interest in nephrotic syndrome and glomerular diseases, congenital abnormalities of the kidney and urinary tract, and genetic kidney diseases.</p><p>After earning her Bachelor of Arts in chemistry at Princeton University in 1997, Dr. Reidy attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine, earning her Doctor of Medicine in 2002. Her postdoctoral training began with a pediatric internship and residency at Children&rsquo;s Hospital of New York, NewYork-Presbyterian from 2002 to 2005. She then pursued a three-year National Institutes of Health (NIH) supported fellowship in pediatric nephrology at CHAM, completing it in 2008.</p><p>Dr. Reidy&rsquo;s clinical research focuses on children with glomerular and chronic kidney disease, including NIH funded Nephrotic Syndrome Study Network (NEPTUNE) and Cure Glomerulonephropathy (CureGN) studies of children with nephrotic syndrome. Her translational research focuses on the effect of APOL1 risk variants on preeclampsia and perinatal outcomes. Her bench research focuses on effects of developmental genes on kidney repair and fibrosis after injury. She has shared her work through many peer-reviewed journals, invited presentations, book chapters and abstracts. Dr. Reidy is also an ad hoc reviewer for many journals including <em>Pediatric Nephrology, Kidney International and the Journal of the American Society of Nephrology</em>.</p><p>Dr. Reidy is board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric nephrology. She is an active member of several professional organizations including the American Society of Pediatric Nephrology, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Neonatal Kidney Collaborative. She currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Section of Nephrology for the AAP. From 2016 through 2021, she has been listed among Castle Connolly Top Doctors: New York Metro Area. In 2021, she was elected to membership in the Leo M. Davidoff Society, recognizing her long-term commitment to excellence in teaching medical students.</p>

Pollack, MD, MS, is the Director of Undergraduate Medical Education for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecolgy &amp; Women&rsquo;s Health and an Associate Professor at Montefiore-Einstein. A large portion of her time is towards educating the next generation of doctors, as the OBGYN Clerkship Director, Acting Internship/Electives Director and Reproductive Systems and Human Sexuality Course Director. Dr. Pollack&rsquo;s clinical focus is on reproductive endocrinology, infertility, fertility preservation, pediatric and adolescent gynecology, reproductive anomalies, recurrent pregnancy loss, Turner syndrome, primary ovarian insufficiency and genetic conditions causing menstrual irregularities or infertility, including Kallmann syndrome.</p><p>After earning her Bachelor of Arts in biology and genetics at Cornell University College of Arts &amp; Sciences in 1987, Dr. Pollack attended State University of New York at Buffalo, earning her Master of Science in natural sciences and biology in 1988. She then pursued her Doctor of Medicine at State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn-Downstate, earning her degree in 1992. She started her postdoctoral training with a four-year internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Yale-New Haven Hospital, which she completed in 1996. Following this, she pursued a two-year fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, completing it in 1998.</p><p>Dr. Pollack&rsquo;s research is related to fertility treatments and medical education research. She has shared her work in several peer-reviewed journals, book chapters and abstracts, as well as through many invited presentations nationally. Dr. Pollack is also an ad hoc reviewer for several journals including Fertility and Sterility, the American Journal of Medical Genetics and Maturitas.</p><p>Dr. Pollack is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology &amp; Infertility. She is an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, and the Association of Professors of Gynecology &amp; Obstetrics, serving on many national committees for these organizations. She has been recognized several times for her training and mentorship, including receiving the Leo M. <p>Nicole Hayde, MD, MS, is a pediatric nephrologist at Children&rsquo;s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein (CHAM), Medical Director, Pediatric Kidney Transplant Program, Associate Director, Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship Program and Associate Professor, Pediatrics at Montefiore-Einstein. Dr. Hayde&rsquo;s clinical focus is pediatric renal transplantation, with a particular interest in the role of antibodies in allograft injury.</p><p>After earning her Doctor of Medicine from the University of the West Indies, Mona, Jamaica in 2003, Dr. Hayde completed her residency and chief residency in pediatrics at the University of Miami in 2009. She went on to complete her fellowship in pediatric nephrology at CHAM in 2012. During her fellowship, she was also enrolled in the clinical research training program at Einstein, earning her Master of Science in clinical research methods in 2012.</p><p>Dr. Hayde&rsquo;s research focus is on the role of donor-specific antibodies in pediatric kidney transplantation and methods to decrease antibody mediated injury. Her findings have been published in several peer-reviewed journals, and have been shared through book chapters, posters and presentations. She is on the editorial board of Frontiers in Pediatrics and is a peer reviewer for several journals including Transplantation, Pediatric Transplantation and Human Immunology. She also serves as a research mentor for fellows interested in kidney transplant research.</p><p>Dr. Hayde is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric nephrology. She has several national roles including the associate councilor of region 9 of United Network of Organ Sharing (UNOS) and the executive committee of the pediatric community of practice of the American Society of Transplantation. She is also a member of several professional organizations including the ASPN and the American Society of Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics.</p>
