The Albert Einstein College of Medicine continues to expand its research space. The new 200,000 square foot Price Center for Genetic and Translational Medicine opened in 2008 with 40 new laboratories based on the concept of "bench to bedside" research. In addition, students and faculty at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine have access to a vast array of state-of-the-art laboratory equipment, techniques, and interdisciplinary research facilities that they can use to solve fundamental problems in biology and medicine.
