<p>Inessa Normatov, MD, is an Attending Physician in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Normatov’s clinical focus is on inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease, transition of care and wireless capsule endoscopy.</p>
<p>Dr. Normatov received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Exercise Sciences from Queens College. She subsequently completed her medical degree at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She went on to a pediatric residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and completed fellowship training in Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at the University of Chicago.</p>
<p>Extending from her clinical focus, Dr. Normatov’s research interests are in inflammatory bowel disease, particularly the use of novel therapies, optimization of therapies, prevention of post-surgical disease recurrence and the effects of diet on IBD. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national conferences.</p>
<p>Dr. Normatov is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, The American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterological Association.</p>

Dr. Normatov’s clinical focus centers on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), celiac disease and intestinal ultrasound.</p><p>After obtaining her Bachelor of Science in family, nutrition, & exercise sciences from Queens College in 2009, Dr. Normatov earned her Doctor of Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2013. She completed her pediatric residency at Rush University Medical Center in 2016, followed by a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition at the University of Chicago in 2019.</p><p>Extending from her clinical focus, Dr. Normatov’s research interests are in IBD, particularly the use of novel therapies, optimization of therapies, prevention of post-surgical disease recurrence, use of intestinal ultrasound and the effects of diet on IBD. Her work has been shared through numerous peer-reviewed publications and invited presentations.</p><p>Dr. Normatov is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and is board certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (NASPGHAN) and the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG).</p>
<p>Sofya Maslyanskaya MD is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College. Dr. Maslyanskaya earned her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Stony Brook University in 2004 and her medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in 2008. She completed her pediatrics residency at New York University and her fellowship in adolescent medicine at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in June, 2014. Dr. Maslyanskaya is board-certified in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine.</p>
<p>She is a Member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and a member of the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine (SAHM) and the SAHM electronic health committee and the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology (NASPAG). </p>
<p>Dr. Maslyanskaya provides adolescent sub-specialty care at the Childrens Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) and Montefiore Hutch Dr. Maslyanskaya is the medical director of the Long Acting Reversible Contraceptive (LARC) service at CHAM.</p>

Dr. Maslyanskaya’s clinical focus is on adolescent gynecology and adolescent reproductive healthcare.
Dr. Maslyanskaya’s research interests include contraceptive care for adolescent patients and counseling and provision of long-acting reversible contraceptives for adolescents.
<p>Sofya Maslyanskaya, MD, is the Medical Director of the Adolescent Medicine Outpatient Practice and an Attending Physician in the Division of Adolescent Medicine at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore. She is also an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Maslyanskaya’s clinical focus is in adolescent gynecology and adolescent reproductive healthcare. She is also interested in the medical management of adolescent eating disorders. <p>Dr. Maisonet was drawn to pediatric emergency medicine during medical school, when through a National Health Service Corps Scholarship, she worked in an inner-city clinic in Philadelphia. There, she saw how crack cocaine devastated families and neighborhoods. She knew then that she wanted to care for patients in the inner city, a desire that led her to become a pediatrician at Montefiore Medical Center.</p><p>At Montefiore, Dr. Maisonet was one of the first recipients of the Faculty Development Scholarship and was able to study and obtain a master of science degree in the Clinical Research Training Program. This program has given her the tools to practice clinical medicine in the Emergency Department with a research approach.</p>

<p>Richard Lucariello, MD, is Clinical Director, Non-Invasive Cardiology at the Wakefield Campus of Montefiore and Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. His clinical interests include clinical cardiology, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.</p><p>Dr. Lucariello earned his Bachelor of Science in biology at Fordham University in 1979, followed by his Doctor of Medicine at New York Medical College in 1984. He began his postdoctoral training at Westchester County Medical Center, completing a medicine internship in 1985 and a two-year medicine residency in 1987. He then completed a cardiology fellowship at St. Vincent’s Hospital & Medical Center in 1989 before returning to Westchester County Medical Center to complete a nuclear cardiology fellowship in 1990.</p><p>Following his clinical interests, Dr. Lucariello’s research focuses primarily on echocardiography. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and abstracts.</p><p>Dr. Lucariello is actively involved in educating medical residents and cardiology fellows at the Wakefield campus, and was awarded the Program Director’s Training Award for Cardiology for the 2011–2012 academic year. He is board certified and is a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Cardiology, the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography.</p>
<p>Norah Li , MD, is Assistant Medical Director, Pediatrics at Montefiore Einstein. Dr. Li provides comprehensive, inclusive and empathetic care to school-aged and adolescent children in the Bronx.</p><p>After obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in biology from Columbia University in 2006, Dr. Li earned her Doctor of Medicine at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in 2011. She then came to Montefiore Einstein to complete her social pediatrics residency in 2015, where she was Chief Resident in her final year.</p><p>Dr. Li is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).</p>
