<p>Christina K. Sullivan, MD, is Medical Director, Comprehensive Family Care Center, Pediatric Practice at Montefiore and Assistant Clinical Professor, Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her clinical focus is on general pediatrics and the education of medical students and residents.</p><p>After earning her Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry at Brown University in 1984, Dr. Sullivan attended the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, earning her Doctor of Medicine in 1990. She pursued her postdoctoral training at Mount Sinai Medical Center, completing an internship and residency in Pediatrics in 1993.</p><p>Dr. Sullivan&rsquo;s research is varied, investigating areas of general pediatrics, resident education, smoking cessation and narrative medicine.</p><p>In 1998, Dr. Sullivan was awarded the William Obrinsky Award from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine for excellence in student teaching. In 2003, she was inducted into the Leo Davidoff Society for excellence in medical student education. She is board certified and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.</p>

<p>Mark Shlomovich, MD, is Director, Extracorporeal Liver Support and Director, Pediatric Critical Care Transport at Children&rsquo;s Hospital at Montefiore and Assistant Professor, Pediatrics at Montefiore-Einstein. Dr. Shlomovich&rsquo;s clinical focus is on the care of critically ill children with abdominal organ failure, transplantation and post-surgical care. He also focuses on the safe transportation of critically ill children.</p><p>In 2006, Dr. Shlomovich earned his Bachelor of Science in biology from Towson University. He then attended University of Connecticut School of Medicine earning his Doctor of Medicine in 2010. His postgraduate training began at SUNY Downstate Medical Center with a four-year pediatric residency, where he was Chief Pediatric Resident in his final year. He then came to Children's Hospital at Montefiore for a pediatric critical care fellowship, which he completed in 2017.</p><p>Dr. Shlomovich&rsquo;s research interests are in the use of artificial liver support technology, as well as the care of children in liver failure before and after transplantation. In addition, he investigates the safety and efficiency of the transportation of critically ill children. He has shared his research through peer-reviewed journals and abstracts, and is an ad hoc reviewer for BMC Nephrology.</p><p>Dr. Shlomovich is board certified in general pediatrics and pediatric critical care medicine. He is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American Academy of Pediatrics.</p>

She pursued her postgraduate training at Mount Sinai Medical Center, completing her residency and chief residency in 1993.</p><p>Dr. Schechter&rsquo;s research focuses on medical student education, particularly ways to enhance clinical reasoning, problem-based learning and communication skills in pediatric settings.</p><p>Dr. Schechter has been recognized with listings in Castle Connolly Top Doctors: New York Metro Area and <em>New York Times Magazine</em>&rsquo;s New York Super Doctors. She is the recipient of multiple teaching awards from both the Department of Pediatrics and Albert Einstein College of Medicine and was inducted as a faculty member into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Gold Humanism Society. In 2014, she received the <em>Leonard Tow Humanism Award</em> in recognition of emulating the qualities of humanism in medicine. Dr. Schechter is board certified and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Council on Medical Student Education in Pediatrics and the Academic Pediatrics Association.</p>

<p>Dr. Michael L. Rinke, MD, PhD, MBA is the Vice President and Chief Quality Officer for Montefiore Medical Center and Director of Dissemination and Implementation Science and a Professor of Pediatrics at The Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Rinke&rsquo;s research focuses on the application of behavior change techniques and implementation science to improve the quality of care delivered to children in both the inpatient and ambulatory settings.</p>
<p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; letter-spacing: 0.15pt;">Dr. Rinke was the PI on his 3<sup>rd</sup> AHRQ R01 grant (R01HS026239) investigating how to ensure every child receives guideline compliant and timely hypertension diagnosis and management. He was previously PI on two AHRQ R01 grants (R01HS24432 &amp; R01HS023608) examining multiple pediatric ambulatory healthcare-associated infections and the effects of a national quality improvement collaborative on ambulatory pediatric diagnostic errors. He is corresponding-PI on an AHRQ Learning Healthcare System training K12 grant (K12HS026396) and co-investigator on the Einstein Clinical and Translational Science Award (UL1TR001073) as co-Director of the Health Research and Implementation Core. Dr. Rinke has extensive experience leading quality improvement collaboratives, publishing rigorous dissemination and implementation science, and successfully directing large research teams.&nbsp;</span></p>
<p>Dr. Rinke completed his medical and pediatric residency training at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He received his Doctorate in Clinical Investigation from the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health and his Master of Business Administration at Marist College.</p>
