<p>Dr. Lillian Colon joined the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1992, when she became a psychiatry resident, training at the Montefiore Medical Center and associated institutions. Prior to that she had graduated from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 1992. After graduating from residency in 1996, Dr. Colon joined the then MMC Schizophrenia Clinic where she participated in conducting trials of antipsychotics and mood stabilizing medications which are still utilized today in patient care. Following her fellowship, she joined the Moses Montefiore Medical Center Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic and the Psychiatry Observation Suite (POS), where she has the pleasure of caring for patients of all ages. <p>Bianca Calderon, MD, FAAP, is an attending physician and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Montefiore Einstein. Dr. Calderon is a school health physician with a special interest in adolescent reproductive healthcare.</p><p>In 2009, Dr. Calderon received her Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University. She went on to attend Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, earning her medical degree in 2014. She then pursued postgraduate training at Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center, completing her residency in pediatrics in 2017.</p><p>She is board certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.</p>

Biography

<p>Maneesha Bangar, MD, is Director, Simulation for Education and Patient Safety in Critical Care and Assistant Professor, Medicine at Montefiore Einstein. Her clinical interests include providing care for complex ICU patients, critical care consults, training house staff in running Rapid Response and Cardiac Arrest Codes emphasizing communication and teamwork skills, training CCM Fellows in airway management, emergency procedures, hands on ultrasound training and multisystem bedside training to efficiently manage emergencies. She is also involved in conducting multidisciplinary in situ simulations for better patient care with other departments</p><p>In 1999, Dr. Bangar completed her medical education at B.J. Medical College in Pune, Maharashtra, India. She completed her yearlong rotating internship at Sassoon General Hospital, Pune, India in 2000 followed by a job as a Medical Officer in rural India. She then completed a three-year anesthesiology residency at B.J. Medical College in 2004. Dr. Bangar later pursued additional postgraduate training at Montefiore, completing an internal medicine residency in 2012, acting as Chief Resident in her final year, followed by a two-year critical care medicine fellowship, which she completed in 2014.</p><p>Dr. Bangar&rsquo;s research includes the applications of simulation to increase efficiency in patient management, uncovering latent safety threats and quality improvement. She has shared her work through peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, abstracts and poster presentations.</p><p>Dr. Bangar is board certified in Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. She is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American College of Physicians. In 2022, she was awarded Faculty Scholar for the Harvard Macy Program for Educators in Health Professions.</p>
