Dr. Goilav is a pediatric nephrologist who is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Nephrology. Her research interest is in lupus nephritis. She is currently doing translational research studying the role of very small interfering RNAs, called microRNAs, in the development and progression of lupus nephritis and their detection in human urine samples, as well as their role as biomarkers of disease activity.Dr. Goilav graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Basel, Switzerland, and did her internship and residency in pediatrics at Jacobi Medical Center. Dr. Fuloria, Associate Program Director for the Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship Program at The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, obtained her medical degree from King George’s Medical College in Lucknow, India, and then did her pediatric residency and neonatal-perinatal medicine fellowship at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC. Upon completion of her fellowship, she joined the faculty at Wake Forest University. In 2006 she took a two-year sabbatical, during which she was a Visiting Scientist at the prestigious National Institute of Biological Sciences (of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research) in Bangalore, India. In 2010 Dr. Fuloria joined the Department of Pediatrics at Montefiore. Dr. Fuloria is a recipient of the 2000 Physician Scientist Award from Wake Forest University School of Medicine and the 2002 C. Scott Venable Research Award in Respiratory Diseases awarded by the American Lung Association. She has been a member of the SPR Communications Committee and the SPR Fellows Basic Research Award (and the David G. Nathan Award) Selection Committee since 2010.

Marc D. Foca, MD, is Attending Physician, Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. His clinical focus is on transplant infectious diseases.In 1986, Dr. Foca received his Bachelor of Arts degree at Johns Hopkins University. He then attended Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where he received his Doctor of Medicine in 1995. Dr. Foca began his postgraduate training in 1995 with a three-year internship and residency at Babies and Children’s Hospital at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. He then completed a fellowship in pediatric infectious diseases at Columbia University in 2001. His research focuses on the clinical aspects of immunosuppressed pediatric patients,including those with HIV and organ transplants. Professional Interests

Deborah Campbell, MD, FAAP, is Professor of Pediatrics and Associate Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Women’s Health at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and at attending neonatologist at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore. She conducted the Low-birth-weight infant Evaluation and Assessment Program (LEAP) clinic from 1988 through December 2022 and served as the Chief of Neonatology from 1994 until 2023. Her research and clinical interests include health services delivery, global perinatal heath care, perinatal ethics, shared decision-making and palliative care education, family integrated care in the neonatal intensive care unit and neonatal outcomes for very preterm and medically complex infants.  
Dr. Campbell is a member of the Academic Pediatric Society and a fellow at the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Academic Pediatric Association. Dr. Campbell has an active role in perinatal activities at the NY City and State, and national levels, currently serving on the Hospice & Palliative Care Association of NYS Children's Advisory Group, the NYS Perinatal Quality Collaborative Neonatal Expert Workgroup, NYS DOH Maternity Care Clinical Advisory Group, the American Academy of Pediatrics Section of Neonatal Perinatal Medicine High-Risk Infant Follow-up Workgroup, The Bronx Fetal and Infant Mortality Review (FIMR) Committee and the Bronx Maternal Health Care Steering Committee.  
 Dr. Campbell co-chaired the Bright Futures Guidelines, 4th edition Infancy Expert Panel (2017) and serves as an editor of, and contributor to, the American Academy of Pediatrics Textbook of Pediatric Care, the electronic companion tool, Pediatric Care On-line and the Quick Reference Guide to Pediatric Care, Neonatal Care: A Quick Reference Deck and the textbook, Neonatology for Primary Care.

Biography

Dr. Campbell, Program Director for the fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and Director of the Division of Neonatology at The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, conducts the Low Birth Weight Infant Evaluation and Assessment Program (LEAP). She focuses on perinatal care and health services delivery, psychosocial support interventions for mothers of premature babies, perinatal ethics and collaborative decision-making, outcomes for very low birth weight infants and newborn hearing screening. She is a co-chair of the Faculty Mentoring Work Group of the Education and Faculty Support Committee at Einstein and led a faculty development initiative within the Department of Pediatrics.A member of the National March of Dimes Bioethics Committee and NICU Family Support Project Advisory Group, Dr. Campbell also serves on the New York City and Bronx Infant Mortality Review Committees and is a co-chair of the Bronx Regional Perinatal Forum. She is a member of the Greater New York Hospital Association Perinatal Safety Collaborative Advisory Group and the National Quality Forum Perinatal Collaborative and the New York State Obstetric and Neonatal Quality Collaborative, Neonatology Expert Workgroup. Dr. Campbell also serves on the New York State Palliative Care Education and Training Council. Dr. Campbell is the recipient of the 2000 Bronx Perinatal Consortium Distinguished Clinical Care Award, the 2005 New York State Perinatal Association L. Stanley James Award and the 2009 National Perinatal Association Stan Graven Award. She has been recognized by Castle Connolly and the New York Magazine in their lists of Best Doctors.
