<p>Samuel J. Rednor, DO, is Director of Wellness, Critical Care and Assistant Professor, Medicine at Montefiore Einstein. His clinical focus is nephrology and critical care.</p><p>After earning his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2013, Dr. Rednor completed his residency in internal medicine at Southampton Hospital in 2016, where he was Chief Resident for one year. He then completed his renal fellowship at Montefiore in 2018, where he was Chief Renal Fellow during his last year. Dr. Rednor went on to complete an additional fellowship at Montefiore in critical care, which he completed in 2019.</p><p>Dr. Rednor&rsquo;s research focus is in acute kidney injury (AKI), cardiac arrest, and intubation. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and he has given multiple lectures and presentations.</p><p>Dr. Rednor is board certified in Internal Medicine, Nephrology and Critical Care Medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American Society of Nephrology (ASN), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) and the American College of Chest Physicians (CHEST). <p>Amanda C. Raff, MD, is Attending Physician, Professor and Associate Chair of Medicine for Undergraduate Medical Education at Montefiore-Einstein. She is also the co-director of the Montefiore-Einstein Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease Program. Dr. Raff&rsquo;s clinical focus is on dialysis and the treatment of patients with chronic kidney disease and end stage kidney disease.</p><p>After earning her Bachelor of Science in biology at Indiana University, Dr. Raff completed her Doctor of Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, earning her degree in 1998.&nbsp; Her postdoctoral training began at New York Presbyterian Hospital with an internship and residency in internal medicine from 1998 through 2001. She was assistant chief resident at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in 2000 and chief resident at New York University Downtown Hospital from 2001 to 2002. She then returned to Montefiore-Einstein to complete a two-year fellowship in nephrology in 2004.</p><p>Dr. Raff&rsquo;s research focuses on medical education. She has been the Course Director for the Einstein medical student Renal Course since 2007 and the Internal Medicine Clerkship and Acting Internship Director since 2012. Biography

<p>Courtney McNamara, MD, is Associate Program Director, Pediatric Residency Program at the Children&rsquo;s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein (CHAM) and Assistant Professor, Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her clinical focus is on pediatric hospital medicine, with a particular interest in resident education and mentorship.</p><p>In 2006, Dr. McNamara received her Bachelor of Science at James Madison University. She pursued her medical education at New York Medical College, earning her Doctor of Medicine in 2010. She then came to CHAM for her postgraduate training, completing her pediatric residency in 2013.</p><p>Dr. McNamara&rsquo;s research focuses on improving the patient experience. She is a co-investigator in a grant funded project investigating communication with hospitalized patients with limited English proficiency, and her body of research includes quality improvement research studies focused on improving inpatient pediatric comfort and decreasing painful experiences. She has shared her work through peer-reviewed journals, abstracts, poster presentations and platform presentations.</p><p>Dr. McNamara is board certified in both General Pediatrics and Pediatric Hospital Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In 2023, Dr. McNamara was inducted into the Leo M. Davidoff Society.</p>

<p>Franklin C. Lowe, MD, Professor of Urology and Vice-Chair of the Department, is also Director of Urologic Services, Jack D. Weiler Hospital. An expert in the treatment of benign and malignant disorders of the prostate, Dr. Lowe has published over 150 articles on multiple urological topics and has lectured extensively throughout the world. Prior to joining The Department of Urology at Montefiore, Dr. Lowe held faculty and leadership positions at Columbia University, Mount Sinai School of Medicine and at St. Luke&rsquo;s/ Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan. A Graduate of Princeton University, Dr. Lowe obtained both his Medical and Masters of Public Health degrees from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed his internship and residency in Surgery and Urology at The James Buchanan Brady Urological Institute of Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Lowe previously served as the Chairman of The American Urological Association&rsquo;s Alternative Medicine Committee and as a member of the BPH Guidelines Committee.</p>
