<p><span style="color: black; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 10.5pt;">Jessica Rieder, MD, MS, a board-certified specialist in adolescent medicine, is Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and M.D. degree with honors in research from the University of Alberta. She completed her clinical training including pediatric residency, chief residency, and adolescent medicine fellowship at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore. She joined the pediatric faculty at Einstein/Montefiore upon completion of her fellowship and subsequently earned a master’s degree in clinical research from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University.</span></p>

She is the founder and director of the Bronx Nutrition and Fitness Initiative for Teens (B’N Fit), </span><span style="color: black; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 10.5pt;">a joint venture between the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore and the Mosholu Montefiore Community Center (MMCC). She has had extensive experience with the </span><span style="font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 10.5pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial;">development, administration, and evaluation of </span><span style="color: black; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 10.5pt;">B’N Fit, which </span><span style="font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 10.5pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial;">offers comprehensive weight management programming for inner-city youth, ages 12-21 years</span><span style="color: black; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 10.5pt;">. </span><span style="font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 10.5pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial;">She has an interest in the clinical and behavioral management of adolescent obesity as well as clinical care access issues that prevent impoverished adolescents from accessing weight management services. A decade-long partnership with MMCC and more recently with the Montefiore School Health Program has resulted in youth-focused school-based afterschool programming that aims to <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>more effectively support a population characterized by significant psychosocial stressors, economic crisis, developing autonomy and noncompliance.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Dr. Rieder continues to enjoy partnering with clinical, research, community, advocacy, administrative, technology, and educational collaborators to design initiatives that engage and support youth and families interested in lifestyle programming that promotes long-term health and prevents illness. <span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></span></p>

Dr. Rieder is funded through the Department of Health and Human Services Health Resources and Services Administration, the New York State Health Foundation and private foundations to conduct short- and long-term effectiveness evaluations of the B’N Fit program.</p>

Andrei Y. Nagorny
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 110%;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 110%; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif;">Dr. Andrei Nagorny is a psychiatrist working on the inpatient psychiatric unit at Montefiore Hospital, Wakefield Division. His interests are in Inpatient Psychiatry, Emergency Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychotherapy, Consultation Liaison Psychiatry, and Substance Abuse. As a clinician, educator, and Assistant Professor on the faculty at Montefiore Hospital/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Nagorny has been involved in the training of medical students, residents, and fellows. </span><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 110%; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif;">Dr. Nagorny is currently Director of inpatient psychiatry services at Montefiore Hospital Center, Wakefiled Division. He is dually board certified in both Adult and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Nagorny completed his Adult Psychiatry Residency and Child Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Social Work from Columbia University, and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. </span></p>

Munsayac is a board-certified psychiatrist with over 28 years of experience treating adults, adolescents and children in a variety of settings. While she primarily focuses on emergency room assessment, diagnosis and crisis intervention, she is also a provider in the Adult Outpatient Department of Psychiatry at the Moses campus. She provides lectures to first-year psychiatry residents centered on emergency evaluations and crisis intervention for children and adolescents, and supervises residents, Child fellows, medical students, Psychology Interns, and Social Workers</span></span></p>

Sofya Maslyanskaya
<p>Sofya Maslyanskaya MD is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College. Dr. Maslyanskaya earned her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Stony Brook University in 2004 and her medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in 2008. She completed her pediatrics residency at New York University and her fellowship in adolescent medicine at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in June, 2014. Dr. Maslyanskaya is board-certified in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine.</p>
<p>She is a Member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and a member of the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine (SAHM) and the SAHM electronic health committee and the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology (NASPAG). </p>
<p>Dr. Maslyanskaya provides adolescent sub-specialty care at the Childrens Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) and Montefiore Hutch Dr. Maslyanskaya is the medical director of the Long Acting Reversible Contraceptive (LARC) service at CHAM.</p>

Dr. Maslyanskaya’s clinical focus is on adolescent gynecology and adolescent reproductive healthcare.
Dr. Maslyanskaya’s research interests include contraceptive care for adolescent patients and counseling and provision of long-acting reversible contraceptives for adolescents.
<p>Sofya Maslyanskaya, MD, is the Medical Director of the Adolescent Medicine Outpatient Practice and an Attending Physician in the Division of Adolescent Medicine at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore. She is also an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Maslyanskaya’s clinical focus is in adolescent gynecology and adolescent reproductive healthcare. She is also interested in the medical management of adolescent eating disorders. Dr. Maslyanskaya joined Montefiore in 2014.</p><p>Dr. Maslyanskaya received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 2004 at Stony Brook University. In 2008, Dr. Maslyanskaya received her Doctor of Medicine from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at New York University in 2011, followed by a post-doctoral fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore and Albert Einstein College of Medicine.</p><p>Dr. Maslyanskaya’s research interests include contraceptive care for adolescent patients and counseling and provision of long-acting reversible contraceptives for adolescents. Her work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals, review articles and chapters in textbooks.</p><p>In 2013, Dr. Maslyanskaya was inducted into the Leo M. Davidoff Society of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in recognition of outstanding contributions to medical student education as a post-doctoral fellow.</p><p>Dr. Maslyanskaya is board certified in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. </p>
