Stanley H. Boczko

<p>Stanley H. Boczko, MD, Assistant Professor of Urology, an expert in general urologic care and the treatment of all forms of urological disorders, joined Montefiore in 2016. Dr. Boczko currently serves as an Attending Physician in Urology at Montefiore and as a Clinical Instructor of Urology at Einstein. He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of The City College of New York. After earning his medical degree from The Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Boczko completed his internship and residence training in Surgery and Urology at Montefiore. Under the auspices of the American Cancer Society, Dr. Boczko obtained fellowship training in renal transplantation, microsurgery, and hemodialysis access and later he was the recipient of the F.C Valentine Essay Contest in Urology Award in Clinical Urology. Dr. Boczko is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Academy of Clinical Urologists. In recent years he has been chosen by several prestigious publications such as New York Magazine as one of the best doctors in the New York Metro Area. He is fluent in Hebrew, Yiddish and Spanish.</p>
Robert S. Beil

<p>Robert Beil, MD, is Medical Director, CICERO Program, Medical Director, Montefiore Einstein Transgender Health Program and Co-Medical Director, Montefiore Einstein Prevention Program at Montefiore Einstein and Associate Professor at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. As a General Internist, Dr. Beil has provided primary care to residents of the South Bronx for over 30 years. He has particular interest in HIV care and HIV prevention.</p><p>After receiving his Bachelor of Arts in biology 1988 from Washington University in St. Louis, Dr. Beil earned his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Cincinnati in 1993. He then came to Montefiore for his internship and residency in internal medicine from 1993 to 1996.</p><p>Dr. Beil's research focuses on HIV. He has been principal investigator on a number of research projects, and his work has been shared through numerous peer-reviewed publications and presentations.</p><p>Dr. Beil is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of HIV Medicine. He has been listed as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor from 2015 until 2024.</p>
Nitya E. Abraham
<p>Nitya Abraham, MD, Associate Professor, Urology, specializes in the treatment of men and women with voiding dysfunction and diseases of the pelvic floor. A summa cum laude graduate of the University of Connecticut, Dr. Abraham obtained her MD degree as well as her surgical and urology residency training at New York University. Dr. Abraham completed fellowship training in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Abraham is the recipient of the Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellowship, the International Volunteers in Urology and Medicine Traveling Resident Scholar Award to Uganda, and the 2015 Clinical Science Essay Competition Winner sponsored by the Society for Urodynamics and Female Pelvic Medicine, and Urogenital Reconstruction.</p>

Nitya Abraham, MD, Associate Professor of Urology and Obstetrics and Gynecology, joined Montefiore in 2015 as a specialist in female pelvic medicine and lower urinary tract reconstruction. Upon graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Connecticut, Dr. Abraham completed her medical degree as well as her urology residency training at New York University. She completed her fellowship training in pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at Cleveland Clinic. At Montefiore, she established the pelvic floor program in collaboration with colleagues in the Ob/Gyn department, which offers state of the art treatment for pelvic floor disorders. She is an active member of the Society of Urodynamics, Female Pelvic Medicine and Urogenital Reconstruction (SUFU). She is also focused on medical education and has been urology residency program director since 2020 and member of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine curriculum committee since 2022. She has over 45 peer-reviewed publications and has been funded by research grants from the Department of Defense and SUFU. She specializes in treating urinary incontinence, vaginal prolapse, urethral reconstruction, urinary fistula, mesh complications, and more, using robotic, open, or vaginal approaches depending on what is best suited for her patients.
